Translator Plus and Datalogging

I have a Translator Plus and Powerlogger setup and was wondering about a couple of things.

When adjusting the timing through the Translator Plus, does the ECM know anything about the advance/retard that the Translator is performing? I haven’t looked closely at the logs yet, but my guess is no and the datalogging shows only the requested timing and not the actual timing being performed.

Another questions is at what point does the Translator Plus decide the car is at WOT? I’m guessing that the Translator really does not know this from the ECM and figures it out based on certain conditions.

Thanks

That's correct, the T+ intercepts the timing signal and modifies it. So the ECM never really sees this, and the powerlogger wont show it.

It assumes WOT at 3200 rpm.

Thank You TurboDave! That's pretty much what I thought was going on.

Does the T+ assume idle is 1000 RPM and under for idle fuel settings?

Good question. That one, I can't remember.
