Scan tool comparison-- http://www.turbo-link.com/
I use a scanmaster 2, the most basic with no data recording except highest knock and leanest fuel condition (O2 mv) at wide open throttle (WOT), and will display at what mph these readings were recorded. It records many sensor values, what the ecm reads, but you can only see one sensor value reading at a time. The other scan tools such as turbo-link and direct scan have data recording and use a laptop to record and store info. Another source of a ton of info, you may already know about-- http://www.gnttype.org/ Go to the resources pull down, then tech info for many tech items grouped by subject. Good luck |
