Spark translator

Is it possible to read the timing the spark translator is changing?

Or is it a just believe its happening?

Razor,

I posted this question to the Full Throttle tech board to verify a debate we were having with the Spark control on the MAF Trans Plus, which from the spark control point of view works the same way as the Spark Trans....

Anyway, the ECM doesn't see the resulting Spark Timing since the device is installed in between the ECM and the CCCI (module) and hence can't pass the resulting timing into the data stream....

So I guess the "believe it is happening" would be the choice, in my opinion.......

I figured that.. just didnt know if it was possible to see the event?

Without having to carry a scope in the passenger seat

One of the features planned for the new auxbox3 input system for the Innovative LM1 wbo2 is the ability to measure spark advance directly. Should be ready in several months. Much more convenient than a scope :-).
