Body Shops?

Does anybody know a good shop that knows GBodies for a complete paint job? I paid 5k for my TTop GN's complete repaint, looks great, but their customer service was horrible. I also paid 3.5k for a complete repaint for an 87 MCSS I used to own, great customer service, but just an ok paint job. I'm looking for a new shop for my next project.

If anybody knows a good quality shop with reasonable rates , please post

I'm looking for one as well. Seems most places want $8k-$12k for a paint job nowadays.

8-12k? thats way too much for a car I plan on driving frequently. Hopefully we find a reasonable shop soon.

Quess it costs more in california lol. I am in georgia, a car with a good body on it I usualy charge 18-2700 or so, to strip it and do it right I still have never charged more than about 4 grand. Daniel Ray

Everything is more in CA. You might have better luck finding a good cheap body shop in Oakland.

dont be afraid of taking it out of state to get it done, have heard of and seen a couple paintjobs that were done in Idaho and Nevada that were done for about half the cost of Cali rates...just think of the $ per hour here versus there...I have a guy in Arizona in mind when im ready for any of my cars, E

Maldonados Auto Body in Redwood City. They have painted many show quality vehicles including our shop 51 F100. Im not sure what their rates are now a days but I had them paint my mustang coupe about five years ago. It looks as factory as it can get. Good Luck.
