Depends on which part of Texas.

If you come to Amarillo they won't even make you wear a helmet.

Idalou (Lubbock) does tech, but they are pretty easy going.

Ennis, San Antonio and Houston will kick your ass off the track if you don't have a bar.

Bones Henderson ran his stage2 at Pinks all out in San Antonio a month or so ago and he busted off an 8 second pass without his license and they booted him

looks like there is a local track. Desert Thunder Raceway. I have never been to that one though...if it's too strict, Idalou is only a few hours away.

Thumbs up safety equip for texas drags

looks like i will be using desert thunder raceway when the car is finished, still gradually getting parts together for the build, have put together paint color and artwork but need someone who can sketch everything out with the custom mods to the body so i'll know if i want to change anything before it reaches paint time, by the way what is the price of 108 octane at the strips there Jim
