Bolt in Roll Bar ?

Was wondering if a bolt in roll bar (6 point) would be NHRA legal in our cars? Also, if it is legal, how fast could it go? PLEASE don't tell me 11.50 as I have that setup now

Nope....As long as the vehicle has a frame, the bar must be welded to it.
Suggest you spend the $$, and order up a 2008 rulebook. LOTS of "good" info there... Most of it is expensive.

Thank's for the reply Chuck. That is what I thought, but herd some yes some no. Don't want to chop the car up to go 10s, there is a bolt in bar on the site for sale and thought it wouldn't be to invasive just drill some holes which could be welded at a future time if you no longer wanted the bar. Guess I'm back to slowing the GN down to 11.50s, and proceeding with the tubbed S10 project. I don't mind doing whatever is necessary on that. And yes a rule book is in order
