Is this safe and legal? (Harness install)

Is the way I have these straps wrapped around the roll bar safe and NHRA legal?


Also, can I cut the extra belt length off here...

First pic "appears" O.K., but you cannot modify the belts by cutting off the excess, as far as I know.

Where is the best place to mount the crotch strap? From the directions, it sounds like directly under the crotch area, whitch would be under the seat

I do know you need to weld a tab like this to keep them from walking.

I just made up a bracket and bolted thru the floor board w/ another plate underneath.
