Advice on a cage for a t-top car

Like the title says, what should I know about installing a cage on a t-top car. My new combo should have me in the mid-hi 10s on the footbrake. One day (hopefully the not-so-distant future) a t-brake will be installed. I want to make sure I don't bust a t-top flexing on a hard launch.

thanks,chris

A TSM guy with t-tops told me he had left about a 1/2 inch around the cage where it went thru the floor pans as opposed to welding it to the frame and floorplans. And left the worn out body bushings, he said the slop helped. I understand the rules ( I think ), I'm just looking for tricks that people have used on t-top cars. Thanks for the link ,though.

thanks,chris
