window nets?

just wondering at what point do you need to have aa window net??

not true. If you have a cage(not a bar but full cage) you HAVE to have a window net .....sounds stupid but according to nhra thats the rule.

The local NHRA track interprets the rule diferently.

You can have a cage in a full-bodied car at 10.0 and slower, yet it does not have to be certified or have a window net.

So to make it easy just say 9.99 and faster

If the car is fast enough to need a cage, then it will also need a net.

You can go 9.50 on a 8pt bar, 6pt with 2 kickers off the main hoop to the trans tunnel. I believe a window net is needed faster than 9.50.

But.... as of 1/07 there are new rules and changes made.
