And if color qualifies some as minorities, why are Asians left out of a lot of those govt stats, such as home loan qualifications, completion of higher education, business success.

How is it that blacks and whites go to the same schools, study the same curriculum, have the same teachers, and graduate (or not) with a diploma but when it comes time to take a civil service exam the blacks get ten points added to their scores just for being black? On Government contracts they can be 15% higher than a white contractor but get the job because they are black. They get preferential treatment in colleges for no other reason than they are black.
Why is race a factor. Does the government think that by being black they are stupid. That they don't have the capacity to learn in school. That they have to be given a hand in order to succeed.
I would venture to say that the most successful black people are not the ones that were given entitlements but the ones who worked the hardest for what they got.
