Warrantless wiretapping is illegal

the Supreme Court holds laws up to legality, not the Fisa Court

I just responded to Goths idiotic reply in a similar post.

Goth you might as well get your rebut ready for when the supreme court also rules that it is legal. I'd love to hear it now.

now why would you say my post was idiotic? just cause you dont like it.

The Congress makes the laws
The executive administers the laws
and the Judicial branch tells if laws are constitutional..that is the job of the supreme court- and Fisa is not the supreme court nor is it a lower court- it exists in no man's land
Furthermore, all they said was legal was the cave-in FISA law that the democrats passed in 2007.
The Bush warrantless wiretapping remains illegal and will always be illegal

It is idiotic because you say it is illegal, when in fact the supreme court has not ruled it being illegal and unconstitutional.

You say it is illegal because you disagree with anything Bush does to protect this country. Its a simple fact.

When Obama continues this program you will probably say its fine. And he will continue this program, and he will subject a terrorist who clearly has information about an imminent attack to harsh interrogations. He simply won't allow that information to leak out to the New York Times, like the Bush administration failed to do.

Now that Obama has learned how the US government educated itself on Al Qaeda, and other terrorists you think he will eliminate that channel of information? He knows now what Bush and Cheney knew for 7 years. Why do you think he is so hesitant to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate Bush's "Crimes"?

So yes in a nutshell your response was "idiotic"

based on the whistle blowers accounts, yes it is illegal, based on what bush has shared about the program, yes it is illegal.
The Supreme Court will not hear the case because of a catch 22
You cant prove that you were secretly spied on if the eavesdroppers wont release the list of people who have been spied on
