UK ecomomy is the worst in 60 years...

Must Be Bush's fault, somehow?

Nope, I guess not

Maybe its all that "free" medical care and public transportation they have.

Well Mc Cain thinks we are both better off and worse off economically than 8 years ago maybe their government is both Right and Wrong at the same time too.

Maybe it is just a mental recession and Brits are just a bunch of whiners

Technically, McLame is correct. 8 years ago we were in/entering a recession and today we aren't.

Yep!!!

After 8 years of hard work we have finally made it. Well, I guess it depends on what your economic status is, and if your business is one of the ones the federal government deems worthy of bailing out.

The country officially went into Recession in March 01.

That isn't BS that is a fact. The economy was faltering in the 3rd and 4th quarters of 2000 and shedding some of those 23 million jobs Bill Clinton single handily "created".

If Gore had been elected, the country still would have gone into recession.

We AREN'T in a recession, now, and most people think that the worst is over... therefore by objective measurement, the economy is better now, than "8 years ago".

By your logic, it's not Clinton's fault that he left office with a recession on the way, but it IS Bush's fault that we are almost in a recession now???

Who is moving the goalposts here?

Oh yeah, did you ever find time between aborting babies and visiting gay bars to prove that I am the racist you claimed I am? I am still waiting.
