As we all know our own words can be our worst enemy for both Obama and McCain. However, I know for a fact that video is disingenuous because it mixes clips from earlier dates with older dates (and vice-versa), and it mixes them up to make McCain look like he contradicts himself. This is an old political tactic and is somewhat effective because 80% of the electorate are uninformed.

We can all point to contradictions and errors with both candidates but this is a distraction. Would like me to post MANY of Obama's gaffs (57 states)? We have to analyze their policies, experience and life views.

It's a very simple question as far as I'm concerned: Do you want MORE government in your life or less? If you think FEMA, FAA, TSA, IRS, SSA, DOD, DOA and many other federal agencies spend YOUR $ well then you must want more federal programs.

From my perspective the more federal government in MY life isn't good, but that's me.

Do you not understand Obama wants NATIONALIZED HEALTH CARE? That monstrosity will dwarf ANY existing government boondoggle we have now. This is the reason I want MUCH LESS federal involvement in all our lives. There's virtually NOTHING they do efficiently and that's all I want is some civil servant bureaucrat deciding surgeries and/or treatments for me. It's obvious you're clueless there was a reason our Founding Fathers feared a large, all powerful centralized government.

He wants voters to think he is going after health care cost inflation. In reality, he wants to dismantle the employer-provided system that now covers over 60 percent (or about 158 million) of non-elderly Americans, forcing millions of us who now get fairly decent health insurance on the job to instead buy whatever they can find on the individual market controlled by unregulated and predatory insurance companies. And he would drive health care costs upward, not downward.

This is truly amazing: McCain and his handlers knew they had to say something about health care. So they turned to their friends (and financial supporters) in the health care industry and the conservative think tanks.
