It's about Integrity, Values, Decency NOT Acceptance of some Psychological idea
What CNN is missing and what they don't understand is this is not a psychology lesson, this is real life and real life doesn't always play out the way people want to project.
There is nothing that would make me accept Obama, not in the past, now, or in the future. However, I will say this. By suggesting that I would eventually accept Obama, is trying to use a part of psychology, which I do not believe in to begin with - to their advantage - they are lying to promote their candidate. I know a few doctors themselves who have said some of psychology is meaningless fluff. Most people get sick because there is a lack of reality in their life, they have no checks and balances, people in their life lack values, integrity and don't know how to communicate issues and concerns effectively...and speaking of that, Obama is heading for that fall. So, to suggest that I would accept Obama in future, is a bigger turnoff, and insult becuase it suggests that my integrity would change, that my values, commitment to being decent would change - to being dishonest, lacking in values and integrity. Obviously, CNN doesn't understand that because they seem to be lacking values, honesty, integrity and they tend to flip flop, so they are projecting their ways onto others, which I find disturbing.
I will not support Obama, never have and never will.
By suggesting what they have said, they are suggesting that everyone eventually accepts things or people they do not believe in, that the world accepted Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, which they did not. They were oppressed, beaten down, abused and silenced by them for a while, which are very completely different things, but eventually they overcame and stopped everything these leaders stood for - they did not accept them, just as most people who don't like Obama will not accept him. He's been involved in so much corruption, links to terrorists, is racist, etc, that to decide otherwise and support Obama, would go against everything that is right and decent.
People may be forced into oppression, but it doesn't mean we'll accept, vote or endorse abuse, oppression, lies, or Obama. People eventually rebel against what has been forced and shoved down their throats. The media has done a great job of aggravating this issue and situation even more; it feels abusive, it feels like dictatorship. To suggest I'll adjust my integrity, values, morales and endorse Obama in time is an insult.
