i just wish clearchannel had a better taste in music -- they are the main reason music on the radio these days is so crappy.

oh well, whatever sells... i guess the same goes for talk show hosts.

I used to listen to rush all the time, and pretty much agreed with what he said; but now i find myself disagreeing with him more and more. He still gets a lot of things right, though. I just don't see how a guy like him could support McCain.

Perhaps because Paul, and Barr have NO CHANCE to become president, and rather then throw his vote away, you vote for the better of the 2!

if i thought McCain was one iota better than the alternative, I would probably do that.

If Obama gets it, Republicans will fight tooth and nail to see that his agenda doesn't get enacted. If McCain gets it, they will totally look the other way when he institutes all of his big government policies (things that they would have fought to the death to prevent if it were a democrat proposing them)... just like they did with Bush. How do you think we got the largest entitlement expansion since LBJ, the largest expansion of power for the federal dep't of education since the agency was formed, the biggest amnesty bill EVER, and the nationalization of an entire industry (airport security) all passed when Republicans had the House, the Senate, and the Presidency? Republicans go to sleep at the wheel protecting our rights when it is one of their own in charge.

The Repubs obviously didn't get the message clearly enough in 2006. If they lose again this time because even more of the base doesn't come out, they just might try to keep another RINO from getting the nomination next time.

Expected that up to 70 more Democrats are going into the house, and it could be 60 or 61 Senators. Sounds like they can do whatever they want, especially with a Dumbocrat president!

FEAR the FEAR!!!!

I believe you've stated in the past that you're a law student. If so then you must have been following the Heller case. You do realize that our 2nd amendment rights were upheld by a single person. Thats it. Had Kennedy gotten up on the wrong side of the bed, guns would be verboten.

Now McCain might not be a conservative dream, but both you and I know that he isn't going to be shopping at the ACLU for judicial appointments. And both you and I know that the court is what shapes this nation.

Odds are the next 2-3 justices that leave the court are the liberals. We have a chance to significantly alter the makeup of th ecourt and end these stupid decisions where Kennedy ping-pongs between the conservative and liberal wings.

As far as congress, you assume that republicans will have a large enough portion to fight the legislation thats proposed. I don't think thats a given at all. Its very likely that Obama will be given a filibuster proof majority in both houses.
