our bureaucrats and politicians should take notice, and maybe reconsider their positions that gun free zones are the best way to make places safe. I wonder how many people this guy could have killed if others around weren't packing? maybe about as many as that Cho Sung Hui guy did with a couple of pea shooters on a self-defense-free campus a couple years ago?

Just look at all the cities with the highest crime rates: DC, NYC, Chicago, LA, New Orleans... all certified self-defense-free cities.

yeah, they are much less free than we are here. Still better than most other places in the region i suppose.

they are also a shining example of what happens when people trade freedom for security. yeah, they're real secure there, huh? not only do you have to worry about the government spying on you with no oversight, and possibly detaining and torturing you with no charges or judicial review... but they STILL haven't stopped the terrorism.

You mean all those folks with shops that they own, have to send all their money to the gov't and the gov't keeps what they need and then sends those shop owners a check that's the same for everyone else's in the country?

I didn't know EVERYONE over their sent whatever they make to the gov't to have them dole it out equally to everyone!

Gee, can't you just imagine what that country would look like, IF they didn't have citizen soldiers all over the place to PROTECT and SECURE them from all those F'n Muslims?
