Iraq fails to ink deals with global oil majors - Yahoo! News

It appears "big oil" isn't as "big" as some would think...

Where's all my liberal pals who've been complaining about all these NO BID contracts "big oil" was being handed? And where are your comments on this?

First you complain about what you think is going to happen, then you ignore it when the deal is called off...

Barack Obama has failed to honor yet another promise he made today, his reversal of his promise to participate in the public finance system undermines his call for a new type of politics.

We are remaining silent cause we already know the outcome, this has been a done deal since Cheney's secret energy meetings before 9/11. The invasion was a done deal before 9/11.
The fix is in

We saw what a FIASCO the PLAME investigation was. They had the man who "OUTED" her, Richard Armitage, who admits it, and they KEEP GOING to try to justify their spending MILLIONS of dollars on the investigation, and TRY to catch whatever smallfry they might get for NOT REMEMBERING (How many time did Hillary NOT REMEMBER???) some BS and for POLITICAL GAIN for the F'n DUMOCRATS!!!!!!

PATHETIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the plame investigation?
If Armitage didnt know she was undercover, why leak it, why not just say it out loud
Why did Libby and Rove lie- oh yeah, they forgot.
and why was Bush and Cheney afraid to testify?

Why not indict Richard Armitage for outing Plame? Could it be that Plame's SUPPOSED outing wasn't a CRIME? That's the ONLY LOGICAL REASON NOT TO INDICT ARMITAGE!!!!!!

Libby and Rove didn't lie, Libby DIDN'T REMEMBER, JUST LIKE HILLARY DIDN'T REMEMBER UNDER OATH 60+ TIMES!!!! If, instead of telling the story the way he remembered it, and would have said "I DON'T REMEMBER" everything would have been PASSED OVER!

THe rest of the Bush administration REFUSED to testify because it was a PHISHING EXPEDITION, just looking for something like LIBBY got caught up in!
But you *******s on the LEFT ONLY agree with this scenario, when a LIBERAL DEMOCRAT is caught!!!!

How about the MORTGAGE CORRUPTION of Dodd and Conrad with Countrywide? As Chairman of the Senate Banking Committee, he was in the position to give COUNTRYWIDE all sorts of considerations! Where's the Liberal outrage? Where's the Democrats calling for a FULL FAITH INVESTIGATION? Where's the BS LIBERAL media PUSHING this corruption story?

CRICKETTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ahhh yes... You STILL have all the answers, even though you don't yet undertand the questions...

You know this, you know that... How about answering with just a little truth and reality?

Telling us, "The fix is in" without providing a single bit of evidence as to how you could make such a conclusion is like saying you just looked and knew how to tie your shoes instinctively. It isn't true, but you can make the claim anyway.

These "secret energy meetings" must not be very secretive... Or how would you know about them? And if you know about them, why don't you have any details?

the evidence is there. You just discount it. When Bush got into office in Jan 2001, there was no talk of Alqueda or OBL despite Dick Clarke's pleas, they talked about invading Iraq. Then after 9 11 Bush kept telling YOU that he hadnt made a decision yet, but the downing street memo proves that he had, and the facts were being fixed around the policy.
The way I look at you is someone who believes everything the republicans say without question, and discount everything the democrats say.
When you should be looking at what they do, not what they say, and look at the underlying issues.

Its shocking that a republican can accept that organized crime is attracted to where the money is, EXCEPT with regard to Iraq, for some reason organized crime has no interest in 100s of billions of dollars.
Where there is money to be made, there is corruption. doenst matter which party it is

Goth, I've been discounting your kind of "evidence" for years and always for the very same reason... That "evidence" is in your head. You can't present it in reality, and that too, is evident, because you never do. All you do is claim it, but you can't show it because it isn't real. You imagine this stuff and then call it real... We can't help ya much there, but maybe call a shrink could.

How does Gothmog know what was said to or by the President of the United States of America? Were you the fly on the wall so many wanna be? I don't think so. I think you're just making it up more and more in some really lame attempt to appear credible instead of the proven incredible norm.

Saying what you WANT to believe isn't illegal, but it might just make you look like a fool, or worse, insane. Unless you have evidence, it's "hearsay" and that is what you have so much of, instead of evidence.

It seems odd that you believe a plan of action in retailiation or for prevention is something other than it is, but you apparently do in the case of what you don't like. And you don't like President Bush. Infact, you show a serious hatred and that's just a waste of time.

There was a time I was a Democrat, but never a Republican. And I haven't been one to look back and ask "what if?" about much in life. In the case of this war, we're in it and when we got in it, the Democrats and Republicans alike were telling us the same things, even though you obviously don't want to tell that truth. You'd rather blame the Republicans, and so you find others defending Republicans against your half-truths and outright lies. You HATE and it hurts your case 100% of the time because it leads you to blatently lie like a child. Yet to you, it's just how to play the game and you somehow can't understand why or how others can tell you're lying... But they do, always.

So it isn't that Republicans or Independents just discount everything Democrats say, but like you, your "friends" on the Democrat side have openly lied and seem to think we can't tell the difference. Guess what? We can. And we know that our country is at war, right now... Even on July 4th, our special Independence Day! We also take seriously that it MUST be won. So we're not interested in the "new truth" spoken by Democrats or any other anit-win group. We're not interested in a "one world power" that's all clumped together, which creates a single judicial system, giving everyone our rights, unless they want different ones so that they can escape justice. And millions of people, if not billions, believe in the Holy Bible, which tells us of that plan AND that it will fail. We see that failure happening too, but "your side" still stands up and lies just to be heard. And then they tell us things like, "I'm sorry, but I had really lacked proper sleep with all my campaigning and such... You understand!" NOPE, we don't understand that kind of excuse.

And yes, we look at what they do... We're in a war and Republicans seem far more interested in winning than Democrats, who seem intent on losing, even if it means walking away when victory is within sight... Just to appear correct. Democrats don't seem to care who's been killed, so long as we can't claim victory. And the reason seems to be only to appease people who have said they hate us. It's as if Democrats still believe that is we don't fight for what we believe in, nobody will attack us... But that's been proven false many times over, even within the scant time America has been a nation.

To your point at the end... The contracts were terminated before they began... But you're claiming they're done and implemented anyway, even though you've been told otherwise by the very people who terminated those contracts. And you've added that organized crime is the underlying interest, thanks to billions of dollars to be made. But without a doubt, you can't explain how such a massive crime scheme could be made and you've never been to the middle east to see any of this for yourself, I'm sure.

Accusations based in thoughts are easy Goth... Try applying it using truth and you'll find it more difficult.
