Barack Obama Site Puts Michelle Obama at the Scene of the "Crime"

Barack Obama has set up a web site, Fight the Smears, in an attempt to discredit various rumors circulating on the internet about Obama. One of the rumors circulating is that, in a rant, Michelle Obama in the summer of 2004 used the word 'whitey' and blamed the ills of African-Americans on 'whitey'.

In an attempt, at his Fight the Smears web site, to refute the 'whitey' charge, Barack Obama may have inadvertently provided a bit more evidence to prove the case by putting Michelle at the scene of the "crime".

At his, Fight the Smears, web site Obama charges that the following statement is a lie:


The Michelle Obama Rant Tape was filmed between June 26th - July 1st 2004in Chicago, IL at the Rainbow/PUSH Coalition Conference at Trinity United Church:
specifically the Women’s Event


Indeed, the event was held at the Chicago Sheraton, not at Trinity United Church.

BUT, the site goes on to say:


Michelle Obama was not on a panel... at the Sheraton.


It then links to a schedule of the event that shows Michelle Obama WAS on a panel at the event, or at least a "special guest” which certainly suggests the possibility of a speaking role, especially since two television personalities are MC’s. What are they Master of Ceremonies of ?...

You can get a job in Burger King in any city in the country. Start like most of us did, from the bottom up! Put your back into it, do a good job and get a promotion! I grew up as a kid in a largely black area of Dallas known as Pleasant Grove (not so pleasant) ,the ghetto most would say. I was raised by parents so broke they couldn't afford to pay attention. I have a HS diploma and make six figures a year...came from the same crap some of my old neighbors did with the same schooling and everything.

So don't try to tell me I don't know what it's like for them,mr self hating white guy.

I was raised to believe that blacks and whites are the same,my mother even reminds me of it everytime I go off about the s**t blacks pull.

I tell her...you raised me to like them,but they MADE me not like them with thier BS.

This is because we have been sued (sometimes successfully ) for discrimination. The only discrimination that I see in my workplace is that I will have a hard time getting a promotion because so many black people bitched and moaned about how unfair the company is.

The smartest guy in the marketing department where I work is a black guy. He grew up in a small south Georgia town with no money. He worked hard, got a Comunications degree from Clemson, and a Masters from Cornell. The guy speaks better english than I do (I have 2 degrees), dresses very professionally, and is well respected. He has a ton of student loans and also had several scholarships. He did it all on his own.

Ok, here I go with my multi quoting again. You are correct that their are many poor white communities around the U.S. where lots of success is born. But, doesn't the same poor white community have more fathers within their community than the blacks have? Most likely. So, you have these African Americans kids that have low self confidence and other issues because they have no father to teach them things that their mothers can't or doesn't personally know about. Or, when the black boys sag the pants and get into lots of trouble, why do you think they do that? Well, because they had no father to beat the **** out of them as I have. LOL... You have nothing in common with us? Lets see, you have organs, I have organs. You have a brain, and I have one to. But, it depends on how we use it. Many of the blacks in the hood (socalled) could be some of the brightest intilectuals, but you wouldn't see that in them because all you can see is the outward appearence. Big time LOL... I don't see you as a racial profiler now. About the clothing, I were white brands because I don't believe in wearing bigger than average clothing, thats what my parents have instilled in me. You have these kids that admire 50 over Bill C. because they believe the video 50's in portrays his real life, which it doesn't. So they look up to him because dads gone and they feel as if 50's a true success. But, for what Bill C. stands for, they believe is utter foolishness. Also, working is working. Some will sell drugs because that is their last resort to living in the world while other honest workers, like you and I, start off cutting grass and other **** like that. Everyone needs to do this. When I would go to the mall and see the thuggish guys over the railing talking to the girl with the big ass on the bottom level, I was deeply angry. Angry at why they acted so foolish. Then, when I started reading books by a couple of black writters, I saw that it wasn't just not having the father in their lives, but the new generation of African Americans are detatched from their history. Black history month is no longer Black history month because they don't teach us that ****.
