Have you ever heard all of the **** talk from Bill Clinton about Obama and how he thinks he screwed over Hillary, I don't see how he could pick her after all of that. How do you explain the sudden change of heart, you can't.

I agree, but he could put all that aside to be a lock for the Presidency. Once elected he could make Hillary insignificant. I think Hillary should back McCain so she can run in 2012. ![]()

They would probably win. I posed this question last year, I got some BS and said some dirty words so the thread got pulled. But look at them. It's a beautiful leftist dream duo. poor oldy McCain...Look at him, Not as Culturally Poppish, not marketable in the magazines
as Obama/Hillary. I don't want the dems in, but the Gop this year is looking like a 89 Iroc Camaro vs. a 89 TTA. Not gonna win... Just the way it is.

If Obama named Hillary as his running mate she'd have him assassinated.....and then she'd pump her fist and do the 'cha-ching' with her other arm.

Morris is probably right... It's all about the "ME" with both Hillary and Barack. They both stand up and tell everyone it isn't about them, but about the people of this country... But nearly everything they say is indeed about themselves or each other. They want POWER, not an office. And neither is interested in second fiddle. Just a few months ago, Hillary had the audacity to suggest Barack back her, all the while knowing with certainty that he was winning the primaries. That doesn't win friendship with anyone who is just as determined to "win the race" as anyone else.
The only way he will bring her aboard is if he, himself, becomes convinced of the probable reality... He is likely to lose without her. But he has to battle that out too, because taking that cue leaves him with the glaring knowledge that she will be right there to run things and the two will clash often. Any true leader knows that's a bad thing. And while Barack isn't a true leader, making the decision to add her to his ticket will only reinforce that concept to the world. Surely there are many people talking it over with Barack and surely most are telling him what a mistake it would be to put her name next to his. Most of those people are convinced he'll win no matter what... Those people are probably 100% incorrect... Without her, he has no shot from the looks. With her, he has every chance to win, but will be forced to put up with her undermining approach and worse, Bill's insulting personality. And while the few deeply entrenched leftists here will argue that Barack will win, those people are in denial about the millions of Democrats who have harshly stated that they simply will not vote for Barack Obama. Most are just angry that he beat Hillary, but others have different reasons. And the reality is, most Republicans don't feel the same about McCain because, frankly, they see his opposition and feel McCain is clearly the better choice. That's the outlook I see coming from Dick Morris. He seems convinced that Barack is stuck between a rock and an unwinable place. Hillary's the rock and the election is unwinable. Funny thing is, had ANYONE but either of these two been chosen by the Democrats, the odds of a Democrat win in November would've been massively in their favor... Since they didn't bother to choose wisely, allowing "political correctness" to disrupt sound judgement yet again, the odds of winning have been all but cut off and the party is clearly outraged. Unity.... Heh... We'll see about that. |

3 reasons why he probably wont pick her
1. Obama picked Caroline Kennedy to help him pick his VP 2. Obamas other half cant stand Hillary 3. Bill Clinton would be up to his old antics again... He would easily win if he had her as his running mate!

How do you explain away the fact that everyone thinks he's a shoe in to win if he does pick her, and concidering that right now he's by no means a shoe-in to win, why would he not pick her, if it meant the difference between a so called sure win, and a real possibility of defeat. That part makes no sence to me.

Obama won fair and square, and Clinton was NOT GRACIOUS in her loss. she cant have the vp spot for a number of reasons..
#1 she said Obama wasnt qualified #2 She would try to overshadow him #3 His message of change would be killed with Politics as usual Hillary(washington insider) #4 We dont need someone on the ballot that the right wing will mobilize against

And a second poll out Wednesday shows most voters — including 85 percent of Democrats — believe there’s a chance that the battle between Clinton and Obama will not be resolved before the August convention. Among people who identified themselves as Hillary Clinton supporters, 28 percent said they would vote for McCain if Obama is his opponent, the March 7-22 Gallup Poll Daily election tracking survey found. The same poll found that 19 percent of Obama supporters would switch sides and cast ballots for McCain if Clinton is the Democratic candidate. The survey interviewed 6,657 Democratic voters nationwide and had a margin of error of 2 percent My opinion is that Obama has a great chance to win, IF he does ONE THING that he hasn't done so far! If he doesn't do this, he can kiss his chances bye-bye!
