I think I read an article somewhere that the record is something like 115 miles to the gallon for some guy doing this with a Prius.

I wonder if that car can break a 20.0 in the Quarter?

If your worried about your gas mileage, you shouldn't own a FAST GN!

But, I'm always interested in buying another REALLY NICE example, for the RIGHT price!

That guy's a menace. I can't imagine the chaos he'd cause around here coasting to a stop, 'ridge-riding' and 'death turns'. Someone would tear him from his Honda and beat him unconscious about 5 minutes into his shenanigans.

I drive 40 miles to work each day in a car that gets 30 mpg. Even with $4/gallon gas, I spend $5/day.

If I drove a car that got 60 mpg, I save $2.50/day.

Tearing up a car and driving like an idiot do save $2.50/day is not bright.

Well, I shouldn't say NOTHING! The absolute best thing was pulling a 2-3 foot wheelie next to that guy with the NO2 Mustang, and see him IMMEDIATELY shut it down when leaving that traffic light, while watching his JAW hit the floor in my rear view mirror!!!!!!!!

i read this too,hes rolling up the windows, but not turning on the air conditioner .
i watched mythbusters last night and they said "do not try this at home" but if you follow a semi/box trailer at 55 mph at 100 ft their test car gained 10 mpg .......
at 5 ft 15 mpg

another observation i would like to add is; people are going out and buying hybrids that may get them 10 extra mpg....do they realize how long they would have to drive that car just to break even from the purchase??

You can look at it that way

OR

If a larger percent of Americans start buying hybrids, we wont have to depend on the middle east for oil!!!!
