China drilling oil off coast of Florida

Just heard this on the news this morning. We can't drill there, but China can. Does anyone have any information on this? Is this the fault of the inept congress we have? We can't drill there because of environmental concerns but a 2nd world country can? That is insane.

All the oil below (the earth surface), is leaking into the middle east oil well. the u.s. might be buy its own oil..LOL.

The u.s buy over-price oil (muslime get richer), to pump into hybrid car ($$$$$ fatten the Asian market )= the U.S. economy is SOLD.

If this is true(I doubt it) then Bush is as much responsible as the Congress if not more. Why don't you blame him too?

Although, US law will not allow American companies from drilling for oil off the coast of Florida, the US laws will not stop the Chinese from setting up 36 new oil wells there for Cuba.

"No Zone" laws pushed by the current minority party and passed by the US government, will not stop China with its abyssmal environmental record from drilling WITHIN 50 MILES from the Florida Keys:

Who has been the minority party up until last year, lets see, the Democrats. Who was the minority party back in 2006 who pushed the "No Zone", let's see the Democrats.

Who was the majority party who passed the laws only to have them vetoed by Clinton, the Republicans.

Once again, all together now, Congress makes the laws, not the President.

The President can veto the law, as Clinton did.

I think It's an invasion. Not only China in your back yard but Canadian drilling contractors also with Canadians. Plus, USA is NOT permitted to drill any where near Cuba and several other places because of political sanctions. Yet rigs built in Mexico and China, few others, can with Men from everywhere working on them EXCEPT American's.
