Propaganda press of the day!
Hot Air » Blog Archive » Credulous photojournalism of the day
Our professional journalists keeping up that bar of excellence! They really must think that the American people believe everything they print! I'm waiting to hear from the left on this! LMAO!

click on the picture in the link -- it will take you directly to the Yahoo News site where that pic is posted along with 400-some others taken by photojournalists in Iraq.
that is too funny. the ones in the first pic are definitely .223s (the caliber our military's standard issue rifles are), but like somebody said in the blog, they don't look military. military ones always have painted tips so they know what kind of bullet it is. our guys almost always use green-tip SS109. the ones in the pic look commercial-grade. she probably bought them from her local ammo vendor -- "say, what kind of ammo do the occupiers use? i'll take a couple of those." Either that or the ammo fairy brought them. I wish he would make me a visit like that! The bullet in the second picture matches the profile of a 7.62x39 (haha, i just held one of mine up to the screen, and it was a perfect match). That's the cartridge the AK-47 uses. It is a russian round, and no american military weapons use it, but all the iraqis and insurgents do. That bullet is a wierd color, though -- every 7.62 I've ever seen is copper jacketed, and that one looks like solid lead or steel! If that actually is a real bullet, I wouldn't want that going down my barrel!

Check out some of the reply's in the comments section:
Quote: But Bryan, you will concede, won’t you, that those bullets could well have been fired into a house if we lived in a universe where a 1972 typewriter somehow produced a note written in Microsoft Word, won’t you? Sincerely, Dan Rather Quote: Sorry about messing up grammatically by putting “won’t you” in two places in my earlier note. My retirement has not been going well and I’m drinking heavily. Sincerely, Dan Rather Quote: Of course, the photo is from Agence France Presse. The French can hardly be expected to know what happens to a bullet that has actually been fired. Quote: All your credulous photo captions are belong to us. Quote: We have to stop just slingshotting unspent rounds into civilian homes! - Barack Obama Quote: It’s a Rovian plot to make the MSM look bad! This one is hilarious! Make sure you click the link! Quote: Attention infidels! The imperialist monkeypig soldier who launched the attack on our poor old woman has been found! http://www.myconfinedspace.com/water...6akUzPi_ph.jpg |

It was me! I carry an ar-15, and a rem 700 in .308 while in battle. Neither gun would fire so I threw my bullets at innocent civilians. Amazingly I was able to slaughter 700 people this way.

POSTER BOY, you are the consumate LIBERAL, even when presented with the truth, if you don't like it, IGNORE IT or SPIN it! You were TOLD by Henschman how to check it! There is absolutely no reason to fairly and civilly debate a LIBERAL who is morally and intellectually dishonest! YOU are PATHETIC!!!!

I know you have problems inderstanding, I refer you back to #9 and follow Henschman's instructions!
From The Liberal's Handbook on Debating, Chapter 1, "Upping Your IQ: How to Sound as Smart as an 8-Year-Old!": When confronted by facts, deflect attention from your ignorance and unsupportable statements by resorting to the "I'm rubber; you're glue" defense. Other chapters in the book cover false accusations and how to pass off anecdotes as evidence of anything worth considering. How refreshing that you've kept up with your reading. PATHETIC!!! And sad!!!

are you freaking kidding me? i guess this kind of stuff passes for a debating strategy in some places.
make an accusation, and if it is refuted or disproven, just stick with it to preserve your credibility. if this strategy doesn't seem to be working, just go for the classic ad hominem attack. in any debate, i consider an ad hominem attack the same thing as capitulation. that's what people do when they are all out of logic and aren't logical enough to conceed the point.
