America's Left is Happy Katrina hit!

Yes, the heading is true. If you think I am wrong, just look at what the American left is out there saying. They are wanting to point fingers and place blame on an administration instead of offering solutions. How many left wing newspapers and websites are offering solutions and help? I don't see Michael Moore, Al Sharpton (the people down there and not Cindy Sheehan could use some spritual reassurance about right now), or any of the other left wing idealogs down there. Where is MoveOn.org, Americans oming Together, Code Pink? No, they are out there writing or telling stories of how the Iraq war is to blame? Or is it the tax cuts hat are to blame? The left is happy they have another angle to spin to the American people on how the Iraq war, tax cuts, George Bush are the causes of all of America's ills.

The America left gets more and more excited with every picture and story coming out of New Orleans showing the damage and suffering getting worse. They know that with every horror story, they will be able to blame the Bush administration for the was in Iraq or tax cuts or something else stupid.

I heard that Bill Clinton once said that he wished 9/11 had happend on his watch (it did but just not on as grand of a scale) so that he could have stepped up to the plate and shown his leadership skills. I wonder if he is thinking that same thing about Hurrican Katrina? Knowing him, he probably is!

Bill Clinton and leadership skills are like oil and water. Bill is just a plain moron to say something like that. Especially since we saw how the few times he did take charge ended.

Of course they're happy. To them, it's more adversity for Bush. If it's bad for America, it's good for the left. They're going to jump on this like it's a ride into political office. If they can only convince more people, they could win back power. Power to the left, is more important than defending our country and moving it forward. It's hard for honorable people to comprehend how much the left hates this country.

PLEEEEAASE! You guys are like worms looking to wiggle in a hole. NOBODY-LEFT or RIGHT wishes this devastation on those people and the rest of America. Instead of making some inflamatory thread why don't you spend some time reflecting on the suffering of those people and do something positive to help

Sorry you don't see it that way. Just because you don't think it's true, doesn't make it so. The left is at war with the Bush administration. What's good for Bush is bad for the left. They care only about re-achieving the WhiteHouse and nothing else. You seem reasonable, but you just can't see it.

Here's what the left stands for. Show me it's not true..........

What the leftists want for our country like high taxes and redistribution of wealth, to people who milk the system. Who could know that their agenda was to make the USA into a socialist country and to destroy our American culture. Who could know they'd be espousing a mentality of anything goes, removing God and the reference of God from our society, trashing Christianity, fostering secularism, gutting law enforcement and the military with political correctness, decimating intelligence agencies, promoting teenage sex and immorality, homosexuality, allowing partial birth abortion on demand, backing the UN, multiculturalism, moral relativism, anti- nationalism, radical feminism, ultra-tolerance of any behavior except for conservative views, attack American organizations such as the Boy Scouts, and attack the Pledge of Allegiance. Did I leave anything out? Probably a lot.

How happy was Karl Rove and the GOP, with the Presidents #'s plummeting? Getting the focus off Vacationtime in Crawford, they are probably overjoyed that the focus has been diverted

RRT: Yes, you have. You left out the part where the leader of this great nation was doing this on Tuesday, August 30th, two days after the storm warnings predicted massive widespread damage and while N.O. was in the process of being (for all intents and purposes) wiped off the map.

http://news.yahoo.com/photos/ss/1756...GVvBHNlYwNzc20

You also left out the part regarding the level of sympathy being displayed by some of your fellow state residents, as this little gem illustrates:

HURRICANE KATRINA: SNAPSHOTS FROM A STORM

Football forces evacuees out

From Tribune news services: Tribune staff reporters Angela Rozas and Charles Storch contributed to this report
Published September 1, 2005

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- First it was Hurricane Katrina chasing them away. Now it's the fans of the Miami Hurricanes.

Hundreds of storm refugees are being evicted from Tallahassee hotels to accommodate football fans coming to town for the Miami-Florida State game Monday night.

"There is absolutely no compassion here whatsoever," Lynne Bernard wrote on a bulletin board on the Web site of The Times-Picayune of New Orleans. "The Hampton Inn in Tallahassee is pretty much throwing us out because of a football game."

A message left for the manager at the Hampton Inn was not returned, but other hoteliers said there was little they could do. At the Courtyard Marriott near the Capitol, evacuees were taking up 15 of the hotel's 154 rooms on Wednesday. A Quality Inn had several dozen of its 90 rooms occupied by storm refugees.

"This weekend has been booked for a couple of months," said Antwan Hinkle, the Quality Inn's front desk manager. He said people who have planned trips for months would not take it well (HUH?? NOT TAKE IT WELL?!? ) if they were told just days before the game that the hotel could not provide rooms.

Christian Heritage Church announced plans to open its doors for as many as 200 refugees for four nights starting Friday then began referring people to the local chapter of the American Red Cross, which is planning to open shelters for 3,000.

"When Miami fans come in, it pretty much takes over Tallahassee," said Cheryl Everett, a church volunteer.

RRT: FL is not, repeat, not, currently a disaster area. Remember – it’s "Mi"ami, not "Your"ami. Go ‘Canes!

Just another perfect example of how a miserable leftist will take the opportunity to say the right takes joy in someone's suffering. How pathetic can you fools over there be? No one is happy about what happened in New Orleans. Part of the problem there is the corrupt government (liberals) that have raped the people of N/O forever.

You have no right, yes I said right, to make such a stupid statement. Get off your political soap box and go help the people there if you are so ticked about this situation. Haven't you realized, whether you like Bush or not, the last thing he is concerned with is popularity numbers. He is doing what he thinks is right and would not wish this pain on anyone to take the focus off what some left wing polster says he is doing. Just how intellectually void are you to assume such a thing? You lefties are such disconnected whiners and want the whole world in misery so you can act like you will care for them.

The people in N/O are in this mess because they didn't listen up when they were told to get out of town 4 days before it happened. I knew, and I am in California.

Sorry for the rant, but for some wanker to come here and to even put this post into play makes me a little ticked. A natural disaster occured, and you take the opportuniy to push your evil agenda by capitalizing on it with political spin and just plain stupid statements.

Has Fox News given you any Natalie updates lately?
You mean your a liberal, and you hate Bush? What's new?

Great news, though........Slightly left of center, FOX news has had no updates on Cindy Sheehan, the Mayor of Camp Crazy in Crawford, Texas.

I don't know why you changed the subject, though. Why didn't you address my question? Truth hurt?

This is a reaction. We are reacting to the piling on of the left on Bush, in relation to this huge natural disaster. This is normal operating procedure for the left. We are just noting it for those who aren't paying attention. Come on now, stop trying to act like the pillar of the community and stop LYING.

Look at the Pot calling the kettle Black WHAT IS THIS THREAD'S TOPIC ???????????? You have definitely consumed too much RED KOOL-AID. Even Joe Scarborough can't believe the lack of action of this administration. What about those who evacuated to the DOME? Without transportation where would they go??????? PATHETIC attempt by you to gloss over the inept response by the Federal Govt.

Going to the superdome was better than sleeping on their roofs. Major freeways (covered with only 2 feet of water) lead to the Dome so they could evacuate the people out of there, from there, when the water started going down. It's better to be in a central point with a known escape route that being in left in your neighborhood, in a city that is being abandoned.

Wow, a big government liberal is complaining about the response of the federal government. Why do you think the rest of us are Republicans?

I've evacuated two hurricanes in my life, both only Cat 3's. I was in bumper to bumper, 5 mph traffic for 8 hours and the hurricanes missed, but I'm not stupid. I'm sorry people tried to ride out a Cat 5 in a city that is 13 feet under sea level. That isn't Bush's fault.

Look UNGN, the only reason this leftist came out of hiding was he figured he could knock Bush because of this natural catastrophe. Then, on top of it, ya got a bunch of people who were denied their right to vote getting stuck in the city. This is a perfect occasion to not only blame Bush for the hurricane itself, but to backseat quarterback the whole rescue effort. When the powers that be, figure they can't put humpty back together again, that will be Bush's fault too. Boy, so much ammunition going into the elections. Too bad, Bush won't be running..............so he could beat them again.

The media is painting this as a "It's all Bush's Fault" disaster because it shows how POWERLESS the federal government is and how their ideal of a big government nanny state utopia CAN'T WORK.

Ted Koppel is wondering why the National guard wasn't there to evacuate the People BEFORE the Hurricane struck and how the "82 Airborne" should come in and restore order. What a F'n Dumbass.

What if people didn't want to evacuate? Can they shoot them?

Yes, America was founded on the ideals of the federal government predicting the future and then saving you from yourself.
