Looks like Rove is in Trouble.
I believe George Sr called revealing an undercover agent one of the worst types of treason that there is.
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/theblo...-cov_3556.html Lawrence O'Donnell Rove Blew CIA Agent's Cover I revealed in yesterday's taping of the McLaughlin Group that Time magazine's emails will reveal that Karl Rove was Matt Cooper's source. I have known this for months but didn't want to say it at a time that would risk me getting dragged into the grand jury. McLaughlin is seen in some markets on Friday night, so some websites have picked it up, including Drudge, but I don't expect it to have much impact because McLaughlin is not considered a news show and it will be pre-empted in the big markets on Sunday because of tennis. Since I revealed the big scoop, I have had it reconfirmed by yet another highly authoritative source. Too many people know this. It should break wide open this week. I know Newsweek is working on an 'It's Rove!' story and will probably break it tomorrow. |

Lawrence O'donnell has become a loon since the 2000 elections. If the Rove stuff he is saying turns out not to be true, will he be drawn and quartered for spreading lies by the mainstream media or will they "circle the wagons" around him.
If Rove did it he should be reprimanded (It's not like she was a covert operative in a foreign country... she drove to Langley every day ) but if Rove DIDN'T do it, I want heads to roll from the people who said he did do it.Is that fair?

After 9/11, liberals urge "understanding" for terrorists.
I smell a media frame up...........that's if we ever hear of this notion again. Of course, I know, liberals never LIE.

I'll believe it when I see it.
Here's why we aren't so quick to believe that jackass: http://michellemalkin.com/archives/000699.htm MR. O'DONNELL: Look, it's not our job to lie about war to make troops feel good. And I don't care what they feel. MR. BLANKLEY: I don't -- MR. MCLAUGHLIN: Let me finish. MR. O'DONNELL: I don't care what they feel about the truth of this war. If John Kerry thinks this war is a mistake and if the United States of America elects him president, the troops are going to have to live with that. And they know better than anyone else whether it was a mistake or not. MR. BUCHANAN: The commander-in-chief should not undermine the troops -- MR. O'DONNELL: He's not undermining anything. MR. MCLAUGHLIN: Do you want to make a point here? MR. BUCHANAN: He'd demoralize them. MR. MCLAUGHLIN: All right, the human -- MR. O'DONNELL: I don't care if they're demoralized. They have to go to war and be prepared -- MR. BUCHANAN: The commander-in-chief does care. MR. O'DONNELL: -- to live with the debate that goes on in the United States about whether it's right or wrong. MR. BUCHANAN: But if you're going to be commander-in-chief, you cannot be demoralizing the troops in wartime, even if you think the war is a mistake.

Larry O'Donnell.......I had forgotten who that was. Big mouth lib. Such a loose cannon, he used to be on Scarborough Country on MSNBC before the election, but realizing how full of it and out of control he is, you don't see him on there anymore. This is just more evidence that the Rove/Plaime connection is just concocted, as most things from the left.

More good news for the administration:
White House Maintains Silence About Rove WASHINGTON - The White House is suddenly facing damaging evidence that it misled the public by insisting for two years that presidential adviser Karl Rove wasn't involved in leaking the identity of a female CIA officer. President Bush, at an Oval Office photo opportunity Tuesday, was asked directly whether he would fire Rove -- in keeping with a pledge in June, 2004, to dismiss any leakers in the case. The president did not respond. For the second day, White House press secretary Scott McClellan refused to answer questions about Rove.

Boy, the libs are in a frenzy. Must be their desperation. All of a sudden, they care about the CIA.
The only time the left cares about the CIA is if their trying to gut it, which Clinton did. They just need someone to call a traitor. Kind of like the pot calling the kettle black. It is correct, Bush said whoever is found guilty, has to go. However, nothing will come of it because there's nothing to it. To obstruct and waste more time, this is just more $hit thrown at the wall by the left, not for the good of the country, but to GET BUSH.Why is it that female reporter went to jail? She was given the OK to reveal her source. I wonder why she didn't........could it be her source was somebody different. Really, she knew the other reporter was going to reveal his alledged source. Think about it.

Here's some cold water for the left.
Deputy AG: Valerie Plame Leak Not Illegal The White House press corps lapsed into a full-blown feeding frenzy on Monday over the news that Karl Rove is identified in emails from Time Magazine reporter Matthew Cooper as someone who mentioned that Joseph Wilson's wife worked at the CIA - just days before her name was revealed by columnist Robert Novak. But the former deputy attorney general who helped draft Intelligence Identities Protection Act - which Bush critics insist was violated when Valerie Plame was identified to Novak - said earlier this year that it's unlikely any laws were broken in the case. Writing in January in the Washington Post, former Assistant Deputy Attorney General Victoria Toensing explained that she helped draft the 1982 law in question. Said Toensing: "The Novak column and the surrounding facts do not support evidence of criminal conduct." For Plame's outing to have been illegal, the one-time deputy AG explained, "her status as undercover must be classified." Also, Plame "must have been assigned to duty outside the United States currently or in the past five years." Since in neither case does Plame meet those criteria, Toensing argued: "There is a serious legal question as to whether she qualifies as 'covert.'" The law also requires that the celebrated non-spy's outing take place by someone who knew the government had taken "affirmative measures to conceal [the agent's] relationship" to the U.S. Toensing said that's unlikely. In fact, the myth that the Intelligence Identities Protection Act was violated in the Plame case began to unravel in October 2003, when New York Times scribe Nicholas Kristof revealed that she abandoned her covert role a full nine years before the Novak column. "The C.I.A. suspected that Aldrich Ames had given [Plame's] name [along with those of other spies] to the Russians before his espionage arrest in 1994," reported Kristof. "So her undercover security was undermined at that time, and she was brought back to Washington for safety reasons." The Times columnist also noted that Plame had begun making the transition to CIA "management" even before she was outted by Novak, explaining that "she was moving away from 'noc' – which means non-official cover ... to a new cover as a State Department official, affording her diplomatic protection without having 'C.I.A.' stamped on her forehead." Kristof concluded: "All in all, I think the Democrats are engaging in hyperbole when they describe the White House as having put [Plame's] life in danger and destroyed her career; her days skulking along the back alleys of cities like Beirut and Algiers were already mostly over."

It's rediculous. The DIMs and the media, as usual on the same page, trying to bring down the Bush presidency. They just got over Rove identifying liberals for the morons they are. This is just another chapter of attempted character assasination of another Republican. The libs steered this whole controversy to where it is, so they can display their fake outrage. We just have to listen and watch it blow over with no desired results for the left, except to listen to themselves rant.
