I decided to stop in a take a look at some post-election threads and quickly remembered why I seldom bother.

JSA, I'll give you a little advise that I suspect you'll both take offense to and miss the premise.

Below are some excerpts from two (2) or your posts--try and take an objective look. I couldn't read anymore and NOT because of the message because you make some valid points. Rather, because of the hatred, negativity and personal attacks which go hand and hand with your posts.

So here is the advise; When you're trying to get a point across don't attack those whom with your trying to reach, the message is lost before its even given and you lose credibility--it also corrupts similar messages given by others and pushes away those whom have yet to form an opinion. Try and form an argument based on facts and not name calling, your intended message would go further.

And for the record, I'm not a Bush apologist. I'm one of the many ultra-conservatives who are for small government and therefore disenfranchised with the current administrations abundant lack of fiscal responsibility. And I too would argue that the Democratic takeover was a positive for conservatives in the long run (the framers always intended for there to be a separation of powers). If not for the takeover, I would almost guarantee that the Republicans lose the Presidency in '08. Now, I suspect that after two years of grid-lock and proposed tax-hikes (can you say VETO), voters will have various reasons to vote back a conservative fiscally responsible figure head in the White House. And now back to my main point as to why I think that the Democratic takeover is a good thing. The next President will appoint replacements for two current liberal Supreme Court Justices with retirements looming and guess what--the Court will be packed (leaning to the right of course), and THEN we're in for some changes. . .Enjoy your two years!

Maybe you should familiarize yourself with this area's rules before you post?? Let me help you as this is stated in the area called "Forum notice".

This forums sole purpose is for TB.com members to express there Political View ,Goverment View , World news View, Religious Views & belief , Past or Present World Topics , Debates & Law as each of us views them.

Now we all may not agree with each other on our personal views but we must respect each others views and opinion , so please lets try not to call anyone out of there name in a thread, post, private message or email because you disagree with there views.

This forum will probably cause some of you to get angry so please think and re-think what you type before you reply because we all know that politics and religion topics are never ending arguments.

I will let it be know now that TB.com wants its members to be able to express there opinions freely , But we will remove, edit or sent to the PV TRASH CAN with out warning,threads and post that contain member bashing , name calling, beating dead horse threads or threads falling off there topic into a never ending argument, and this will be done to adminstration/moderator discretion.

As I have been told before in the PV chat area...... you need to grow some thick skin if you want to survive here. The discussions get heated, so you need to be able to handle it. With that said...... I find it hillarious you single me out and it makes total sense. You need to take a look at Red Regals posts sometime and see who holds the title for spewing venom. I know.... I know..... you obvious looked over his posts because he's from your side of the camp. I expected that. So do me a favor. If you're going to make a rediculous thread like this and single only me out, then you need to include everyone else that also participates in this form of authorship. Stop showing your clear and biased approval for the other cohorts.

Lastly..... take a look at Gothmog. He's always diplomatic with his posts. And what does he get in return for it?? The same attack dog tactics your conservatives are so well known for.

This "reaction" that conservatives have is also another reason why you lost this last election. People are so over your attacking "drag people in the mud" style campaigns. It's sickening. The so-called "moral" party is just a bunch of lip service. Conservatives are only "moral" when it suits them or when a 16 year old needs to talk about his penis length on the internet (Mark Foley).

Another last point....... just as the majority of the country is moderate, the lunatic fringe of the far right and far left DOES NOT represent the majority of this country. So get a grip. The Ultra cons will never be in power here. And as time goes on, and more people become Atheists or Agnostics (the largest growing sects of population in the world) we will slowly move away from the religious dogma and replace it with good ol philosophy. You don't need religion to be a moralistic and integrous person. And this country is not a Christian nation, as much as you'd like it to be.

So get along lil doggie and take your ultra conservative self and hide under a rock. And if you feel the need to single me out in the Political chat area, send me a PM or an e-mail. Otherwise.... carry on.

I totally agree that LawDog singles out JSAautomotive. Red Regal T probably does the most name calling I have ever seen. I wish I had a dollar every time he called me and someone else a Dimocrat.
