One Result Of Leftist Thinking

FOUND THIS TODAY

THE SUPREME COURT AND THE DEATH PENALTY

You already heard that yesterday the Supreme Court ruled that every single murderer on death row has at least one more appeal they can pursue. They can file an appeal claiming that their civil rights are being violated because (gasp!) that lethal injection might hurt! I could go on and on and on talking about the absurdity of this situation ... instead, let me just share an email we received from Debra in Oklahoma.

Quote:
My parents were murdered in Oct. 2003 in Depew OK by a man they didn't know. He entered their home when they were gone to use their house to watch for his girlfriend to come home across the street. He went into the closet, loaded my fathers shotgun and went to the fridge to find something to eat. My parents came home, found him there and he shot my mother in the back and beat my daddy in the head with the butt of the gun, then dragged their bodies into the bathroom and piled them on top of each other so he could continue to watch for the girlfriend to come home without them being in the way. He said in his confession that he could still hear the "old man" breathing. My parents were 70 and 76 years old. He then went across the street, shot the girlfriends 17 yr. old son (he survived) and beat up her mom, he then got away and thus ensued the largest and most expensive manhunt ever in the state of Oklahoma. His name was Scott Eizember. He now sits on death row. Tonight, I am the most livid person on the face of this earth. I wonder what in the hell the Supreme court is thinking.........or if they are. Obviously not one of them has ever lost a mother or father to violent murder. Victims have no voice after someone takes their life, but the killer seems to have one forever. It is quite possible that by the time they finally get around to killing the "evil demon" (as we refer to him), that there will be some new thing introduced to hold it up. There should be an express lane to go through to get rid of these Manson type beings, dare I call them human......they are not!!! The weird thing is, I work for the District Attorney in a small county in Oklahoma. I have been through hell and back and still continue to work for a system that itself, needs so much change, because I believe that even one voice can start a link to form a chain, so that justice will be served for victims families. Please urge everyone who listens to you to remember that there all people like me and my family out there who are left behind. Just to add a note to the left behind part........I am the oldest of 3 girls, my youngest sister was murdered, shot in the head by her boyfriend in 2005, we buried her on Sat. Feb. 5 and on Mon. Feb. 7, began attending the trial for Scott Eizember. The one good thing that happened with that situation is that the boyfriend turned the gun on himself. We have to trust the supreme court to stick a needle in Scott Eizember.

Thanks for listening.
And we wonder why violent crime is increasing? Could it possibly be because these bastards aren't being punished?

They need to set an example and empty out death row. Maybe little Tyrone will think twice about being like his big brother thats on death row. How does it cost more to ,per say, kill to inmate on death row than it does for life in prison ? A bullet cost 3 cents, if that. If it does cost more, the state should put the whole thing on pay preview to counteract the cost.

We need to replace one more before January 2009.

.....Anthony Kennedy, an appointee of President Ronald Reagan who usually votes with the conservatives but has often sided with the liberals on social issues, did not tip his hand.

Yesterday's ruling may have been unanimous because it effectively papered over these differences, offering a little something for everyone on the court. In recent weeks, Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. has spoken publicly of the need for the court to speak with a single voice on controversial issues, even if that means it must rule narrowly.

And the court seems unlikely to return to the issue soon. It recently turned down a lethal-injection appeal by a Tennessee death row inmate that did not pose procedural issues as Hill's did, but directly challenged lethal injection in that state as cruel and unusual punishment.

Kennedy's decisive role was more obvious in yesterday's other death penalty case, House v. Bell , No. 04-8990, in which he also wrote the majority opinion.

Voting 5 to 3, the court gave Paul Gregory House of Tennessee a new chance to challenge the fairness of his 1986 capital murder trial because DNA tests and other new evidence have created doubt that he is guilty.

Liberals Stephen G. Breyer, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, David H. Souter and John Paul Stevens joined Kennedy. Roberts and fellow conservative Justices Antonin Scalia and Clarence Thomas dissented. Justice Samuel A. Alito Jr. did not vote because the court heard the case in January, before he joined the court.

If Kennedy had sided with the conservatives, the 4 to 4 tie would have affirmed a federal appeals court's ruling against House.

Hmmm, seems as if you are just a tad prejudice with your use of the name Tyrone. Most people would immediately think of a black when they heard the name Tyrone. Of course I am sure that you will say that it was just a name that popped into your mind as you were typing so if that is the case then you have my deepest apoligies.

Why don't you just take your own advice and put red on your ignore list?

I know you both are going on mine.

This is an obvious example of the insidiousness of political correctness and leftist thinking. This permissiveness given to criminals by liberals, by their whining about punishing them. Today we see the leftist 'compassion' for the enemy combatants who are at war with America and want to murder Americans. Political correctness is a sick, sick, liberal commandment in your religion of sickness. Admit this is true, instead of undermining the security of your country, and perhaps there is some hope for you.

LMAO.....You are one sad little man!

The Conservatives controll the Supreme Court, y'all got the judges you wanted and that still isnt enough? Its quite obvious that the Reps dont buy into you dellusional thought process. This country has had it with your ilk and is heading back to the middle.

I for one think the death penalty should be enforced! Lethal injection is too humane for these crimminals! How's that for a "liberal" point of view?

More from the rot-brain brigade.

Fact: The overwhelming majority of liberals, dems, indies, progs, across the country support killing the terrorists. World wide.

Fact: We were lied into this war by CONSERVATIVE thinking.

Fact: The conservative and Repelicans are done thanks to one failed policy after another.

Fact: It's the CONSERVATIVE/RIGHT WING POS President that has committed war crimes and is a domestic enemy.

You want criminals prosecuted?? Impeach Boosh and his cronies. But some honest people in place of this trailer trash.

ps.... 86gngirls "Tyrones" comment is just plain foolish. Watch cops one evening ok?? You'll see all the white trash in this country that committs crime day in and day out.

I think I mentioned in another post your lack of comprehension to what's going on in the world. Conservative supreme court? Perhaps, but the left has been brainwashing people on political correctness for the past 30 years. Legal rulings have been made by liberal justices and legislatures. This is the insidiousness I speak of, and it's going to take years to turn it back around. You have the spewing of 30 years of political correctness that affect people from the President on down. The military, police departments, and yes, even Supreme Court Justices. Leftists like you will yell and scream at the idea of plain talk and truth telling. You people have a problem with calling a spade a spade. Known murderers need to be and deserve to be ELIMINATED.

Right now, you see the Ann Coulter controversy. This is all about the left attacking someone for speaking the truth. Political correctness is an attack being waged by the left, upon truth, clear thinking, and plain speaking. Political correctness, at its core, is intimidation. In this case, they are trying to stop Ann Coulter from exposing them and speaking the truth with a barrage of negative media and condemnation.

Duh......no kidding and the sooner the better! Again, hows that for a liberal view?

I also believe that drunk drivers that kill should be tried as murderers!

The rest of your fascist rantings are just that.....rantings!

.

You can tell this NEW lie, as many times as you want. Nobody is buying it. You have to support the troops first. What the libs/dims/progressives want, is a bill of rights for terrorists. To appease them and find out why they hate us.

Sorry John. Nobody is buying your crying and lying anymore.

"We thought Bush was a conservative (boo-hoo).... now we're mad at him (sniff).... we're going to vote for a real conservative THIS TIME".

LOL!!!!!!!!

BWAAAHHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAAHAHHA!!!

The country is laughing at you. "I thought he was a conservative". Bwahhaahhaahahah!!!!!!

The country knows you guys can't pick good fruit, nonetheless a decent president.

Why is Red so scared of the terrorists. Because he'd run like the chickenhawk he is when the come knocking on his door. I say, "BRING EM ON!!!" You see.... I won't be like Boosh hiding behind his army, I will be out in the streets cutting off heads myself!!

I and my fellow libs/dems/progs/indies support our boys. What the diseased conservative mind is incapable of is separating what our fighting men are doing and the stupid mistakes of this admininstration. Liberals support our military, but we don't support the assclowns in charge at the executive level.
