In the US, and 2 million NEW jobs were created in 2005 so today's headline on the BBC is:

ILO-defined unemployment in August to October was 1.49 million (4.7%), up by 72,000 in the last three months and up by 97,000 from this time last year.

I stumbled across this when looking under unemployment.

What kind of "jobs"? Are they good paying middle-class jobs?

Only a self proclaimed *Smart Guy* would need to ask what kind of jobs. I guess if it's not in cartoon form, your just lost for figuring anything out, aren't you?. Have you heard of Google?, while some people ask for a link because there's no responses when searching, for you it seems you're just too lazy to do any research that doesn't involve cartoons.

It's sad seeing such a self proclaimed *Smart Guy*, being so lazy or not being able to figure out how to use something as simple as Google.

BTW, how many classes does it take in reading cartoons, and being able to cut and paste to get a degree like your's?, since you never contribute anything that has to do with anything other then trolling. Have you ever had a class that has to do with using logic, or english composition where they talk about ehtics?.

not to take side again but the job growth is good but numbers and percents can be misleading. They were discussing how NBC and FOX both said they had the most amout of football watchers. NBC counts by 4 seconds of viewing . The way to tell the progress would be count those on government programs and welfare. Allso the average income of the country. The midwest is strarting to move alittle so things are prolly raging as were always behind a year here.

Interesting but if you use govt programs as a marker it will also be skewed. The govt actuall ADVERTISES to get more folks to use food stamps! zoiks!

Household survey would be better but most ANY method can get screwy without border controls. grrr.

Also, avg income tells "a" story but not "the" story. No method, as you point out, can. % of income needed in my area will be different than another.

Again, your making an assumption, and like so many other times, you're completely wrong.

I'm not at all, mad at those with more education then me, it's just when they just allege to be, and then define themselves as being cowards are fun to laugh at. When it comes to those that pose to have a higher education, like you, it's just one laugh after another, but thanks for asking!. BTW, you should think further ahead when you ask questions, so you're not just setting yourself up to look even more foolish. Ya, you really act like you have a *higher education*.......
LMAO
