XFI voltage reading lower then at alternator??

hey guys i have noticed that on my xfi while cruising or at idle the computer is seeing anywhere from 11.4-12.1 volts....i chcked the car while idling and the battery and alt were both putting out about 14.3...on a data log i did see the voltage go up to 13.0 but oculd that be because the volt booster is kicking in??? any ideas would be great, thanks

where does your XFI get its power from? if your using the caspers interface thru the stock wiring there is the problem. might want to check all the connections and m ake sure that they are clean and snug fitting together. or you can hotwire the ecm straight from the battery. ]

The older FAST b2b box with the speed-pro harness. It gets it power directly from the battery so it can actually sense the true battery volts.
