Do yourself a favor and avoid getting a Hooker catback and consider this guy's stainless ATR.

These Hooker CB's are junk. Mine has been on the car for three years, and the car has been mostly garage kept. It rotted out at the adapter to the test pipe and is now blowing chunks of rust and deteriorated pipe out the tailpipes. It's got various small rust holes near the mufflers and is a piece of crap. When I it repaired by a local shop, I looked at a piece of the pipe and it's paper thin compared to what should be used in an exhaust system.
Sorry for the rant.
S.

sounds like yours is not the norm.. I have had 2 sets 1 for 5 years with 40k on it still looks new only slight surface rust around welds for the hangers

the other has been on a beater monte carlo that has seen every snow we had (love donuts in the snow) never washed it off ever car is a total rust bucket exhaust still looks great and does not leak.

No I do not work for hooker.

I have seen some flowstopper cat backs rust apart, Nothing is ever going to outlast SS as long as its welded with ss rod.
