Turbo-Thunder IX!!!

It's that time of year again, Geno is busy building his new hot rod, and has asked me to do some leg work for the event. I'm looking to hear from the people who are coming, and possible idea's for a new shirt...maybe. Just looking for a rough head count. Thanks.

According to Bremerton's site, Turbo Thunder is on July 12. Is it going to be just the one day, or is it both Fri & Sat, or? Should be able to make it with the car this year. First one to race at since 2003.

Thanks!
Scott

Well...I think I will still be the slowest one there I do know that there are three classes, top turbo, turbo pro, and one other that i can't remember. My best time so far is only a 13:42 @ 102, with a 100k, pretty stock GN. Bring your freinds, there's a couple of other things going on @ bremerton that day, so I'm sure there's a class for them.

Sacrificial Virgin....

Well, I guess I'll be the sacrificial virgin this year. I have owned my car for ten years and have never been to Turbo Thunder. I am putting it back on the road after a long eight years of storage. I am looking forward to meeting all of you! If I can get everything together by then, I will be racing. If not, I will be there to say "Hi" and learn a few things. Prepare for the retarded questions!! -Steve

Well i been to busy this year to put any time into this race and im flat on my ass Dan can you please call the sponsors you called last year and se if we can get some money for payouts?Give me a call if you would or email me at work please. After all the effort trying to get my new car done ive given up on trying to get it done for this race Now i will try to get something together for payouts. We will still have 2 classes
11.49 and slower and 11.49 and faster but have no idea about the headsup class yet? I will try to talk to Brian at Horsepower connection and see what he says about payouts and sponsors for this class.Next year will be a different story because the manager at Seattle is verry interested in having the race and helping set it up
He said i can pick any date thats not the same weekend as the nationals. This year im not even sure if i have the time or money to get throphys but im going to try to get it together and give up on my other car for awhile. I will post a update next week on what ive got done to get this race lined up.. Again im sorry but i was trying to get my car done and didnt have time to work on this race.

4-5 SRT's have expressed interest in participating this year.

Gene is there anything I can do to help you with the event?
