Commitment List for Noble 2010

The Ford vs. Buick Shootout will be held on October 16, 2010 at Thunder Valley Raceway in Noble, Oklahoma and we will be maintaining and posting a list of those who commit to come to this event.

We hope that everyone who attended the 2009 event returns and that those who couldn't make it in 2009 are there in 2010.

I believe that the 2010 event will have the largest and fastest teams that we've every had.

See you then.

It's quite a ways off but I will go out on a limb & say that we will be there! Hopefully the car will run a little faster. You can probably put down Jim Rasmussen & Andrew Pace, Phil.

I'm there again Dick. If I race once a year, as happened this year, I will be there in something. With a little luck(and money. lol) the Nova will go 8's and I'll bring my Turbo T.

Maybe, maybe, if all goes super great, I can have the wife's 69 Trans Am done and running in time for her to run it down the track. That would be so cool for us.

Jake, it was 11.44 @ 123. I launched it soft 1.9 60' and fairly low boost (22 lbs). I ran one pass at 11.5 and didn't run anymore before eliminations. I don't have a cage so was limited to staying around 11.5. The trans is doing great. I have yet to use the transbrake.

Something is setting off the knock sensor in 1st/2nd gear. 3rd is knock free. Still chasing the knock gemlin.

Thumbs up

I am already planning to be there. The OK Buicks have always made me feel at home at this event; and, we were blessed with great weather once again. I still have a lot left to figure out with this new ride and setup over the next 12 months. I should be solidly deep in the 10's for the next event. Sorry, but with less than 10 passes in the car since it's new buildup, 11.03 @ 133 was the best I could do this year. Fortunately, I belong to a great local Buick club here in DFW with members who have a lot of experience available to help me out.
