GS Nationals magazine write-up/covering 2008

Hello

I am seeking help, input from racers, spectators or your best photo... after all it is an article from GSCA members, focused on Turbo Engines/Buick hybrids too, dragster too... a new spotlight,

GMHTP = Drag Racing

In 2004 I covered GS Nationals and submitted an article published April 2005, then last year I submitted photos... 2008 writing and photos!!!

I can't wait to get this done and take time off so I can get ready for BPG!!!
Bought new camera and have new ideas... I really like the sound of my new video camera with volume and subwoofer turned up...

for example Dick Kereny (TSM Class) 9.279 @ 145.88 mph
I was standing in the middle lanes during staging and 1/4 mile pass
YouTube - 2008 GS Nationals TSM Dick Kereny 9.279 at 145.88 mph

Now here it is 2008, I need, but I want more details. This is about your name and car or some one you know...
The Buick spotlight is limited, yet I am writing the article for GM High Tech covering 2008 GS Nationals...

I am seeking input for the the final races winner and runner up, names, spelling, city, state, engine build, year, make model, turbo type and if precision or etc, quotes from racers,

I have made some corrections.

Question, is Len the first GN to run in 6's?

6.98 at 197 mph, fact/question: 1st GN in 6's?, or 1st GN in 6's at BG

I have listed the final race results, however not all classes may be featured or published... you can bet that Big Gun, TSO, TSL, TAI, TSE, TSM, TSS, TSA, HOC

Both Willard and Gary ran 8.95's in qualifying. Gary set the ET and MPH record by a few thousandths. Exact times are in my signature.
