Just for Fun - Drive-In get together at Cascade Drive-In, West Chicago, IL 8/28/04
Drive-In Movie Night
Cascade Outdoor Theater Saturday, August 28th We can plan on meeting around 6:45 in the Steak-N-Shake lot on Route 59 and North Avenue so we can all drive in together with the gates opening at 7pm followed by the show at 8pm! http://www.cascadedrivein.com/index.html 1/2 Mile East of Rt. 59 on North Avenue, West Chicago, IL $7.00 Per Person (Unless you stuff them in the trunks!) The movies are rumored to be Anadonda II and Alien vs Predator - a real creature feature! Please plan on bringing your classic car to this event. We will hopefully have a spots in front again. You are more then welcome to bring your everyday driver but I cannot guarantee that you will be able to park with us if you do. I also know that SUVs or Vans must park in the last few rows of the lot. Thanks again and hope to see you out there! ShariB

Last year it was cold, and we had a grand total of 6. But we don't care - it's still fun. Better than sitting home watching the Food Network or something.
Found out that the movies are Anacondas and The Manchurian Candidate. So one creature feature! O well! In case of rain, we will still be meeting at the same time at the Steak and Shake as mentioned. Then we might try to find a better restaurant with adult beverages. The Drive-Inn night will then be postponed. But only if it's a wash-out! Hope to see some new faces there. ShariB
