This is my first day as a signed on member. I have owned a 87 T-Type for a couple of years. Time to date spent getting it repainted, the interior replaced, basic mechanicals like brakes, shocks, tires fresh. The car has a Caspers Electronics chip with multiple settings that was in place when I bought the car. Recently, I have noticed the boost seems high (pegs my 15 psig gage) and unresponsive to the various chip settings. I suspect something mechanical, but I would like feedback on the chip before I start making changes. If there is a source of information as to how to troubleshoot this problem, I would like to know how to get it and do some research on this. Advice welcome. The car is stock except for the chip, a K&N cold air intake,Pypes exhaust, Art Carr shift kit, and Richmond Gear locker differential.
