my '87 GN, getting closer to "done"

ok, ok, I know, they're never really "done" but I've been chasing gremlins and fixing flaws in this car for about three years now and I actually believe I'm getting close to having it where I want it -- thanks to the help of local Buick friends and turbobuick.com members!

Right now I'm waiting on a new chip (TurboTweak) that will hopefully address what I *think* is a fuel enrichment issue. Current mods:

- Hueffman Big Mouth CAI
- 3" LT1 MAF with T+
- Limit TE44
- stock IC w/Dutt. neck
- RJC Powerplate
- 50lb. MSD's
- Poston headers
- ATR dp
- OLD hooker cat-back (it's in bad shape)
- Art Carr 9" non-lockup
- Art Carr trans.
- chrome diff. cover
- Warlbro 340 w/Casper's hotwire kit
- Accufab adj. fp reg.
- PTS Xtreme aluminum radiator
- Full Throttle dual fans w/caspers hotwire kit
- Casper's ground kit
- Kirban braces (all of them)
- Kirban rear springs
- Kirban torque strap
- KYB shocks
- vacuum brake conversion
- Stainless Steel Brakes slotted rotors
- 134a A/C conversion with high-capacity condenser coil
- Pioneer DIN-1/2 CD head unit, Bazooka powered sub, Infinity Reference in all 6 stock locations

Planned future mods:
1. new exaust system
2. lower stall, lock-up torque converter (it's 90% street driven)
3. GNX style gauges (already have the empty panel)
4. suspension upgrades!!!
5. much later down the road...17" wheels and tires.

now, all I have to do is wait for the money tree in the backyard to bloom.
Here she is....

Very clean and tastefully modded so far. It can really be a pain to get these cars on the right track, but it pays off in the end.

thanks for the complements guys!

she's pretty basic compared to a lot of cars on here, but she's mine! I do my best to spend the time and money where it's needed most.

When I bought it, the previous owner was supposedly modding it for TSM racing but lost interest. Prior to that, it's obvious it had been raced very early in it's existance as there was evidence of ton's of old school turbo Buick racing tricks. Most of that stuff had been removed but the guy I bought the car from had already installed some fairly serious, and more up-to-date parts. I've de-modded it back down to where I want it. Still trying to get rid of a couple of bugs.
