Any one wanna try me?
About 3 months ago I bought a car from the UK and got it imported, its a 1993 Ford Escort Cosworth, its fords fastes German production rally car, of course i have been racing it, I have beaten the heck out of all other little ricers thinkin "pshhh!" its just another crappy ford with a poser, then they get that wacked out face when im about 4 car lengths ahead of them
 i have already raced a couple of V8's out there and havent been beatin by one, i put out a Firebird formula looked like a 98 and i beat a couple of camaro's here and there I challenge any one out there, my car may only be a 4 banger, but i will win. hehe P.S, my only challenge ever was a 450 bhp Supra... 349 bhp 4 cylinder High output Cosworth Modified *no NOS i promise that* 4X4 Hatchback model     |

If you think you can beat anything out there you are in the wrong forum. If I was located in detroit I'd be more than happy to wax ya. But I am not, so I guess the pleasure will not be mine. But be patient, someone has GOT to be more than happy to show you what a Buick smackdown feels like. You better be pullin more than four car lengths on a bunch of ricers to expect to hang. Thats like thinning the diseased from the herd. You better get some NAAAAAAAAAAWS!

The only reason im postin in this forum is becuase my brother owns a Buick with all that turbo crap he lives 8 hours away from me i dont know what mods he has... so i havent had a chance to race him,
but you better watch yourself dude, i've pulled like 12 V8's already i've beaten down mustangs,camaros,firebirds,a 442, let me see what else, heres my best advice go read a forum based on the Ford Cossies mainly the escorts.. or sierra's they will tell you how fast these suckers can go.. And i bet to no doubt that i can beat any of those buicks out there... tough with all respect i do like those cars... I love the sound of my brothers when it shifted from second to third and you could here that turbo.. man that was nice... but when my time comes and i race one in my Ford.. no doubt it will be close, but man with 4X4 and much traction and about 350 bhp to the wheels with the twin turbo im pretty sure the outcome is noticable |

This thread is gay!
So what does your Cosworth run in the 1/4? The fact that you beat 12 V8s doesn't impress me at all cause 99% of them that you run into on the street are 14 or 13 second cars at best. Beating some ricer by four cars isn't impressive at all like somebody already mentioned. I hope somebody in the Detroit area takes you up on your cocky BS post about how you can beat any of those buicks out there and that's about the most ignorant thing to say considering there are guys on this forum that have 10 and 9 second street driven turbo buicks and your Cosworth is a 12 second car at best! It's to bad I don't live in the Detroit area cause I would gladly educate you on the power of the DARK SIDE!!!

Someone's watched the Getaway in Stockholm video one to many times.
Kid methinks you should go troll elsewhere. Any adult with the automotive enthusiasm to purchase and import a awd Cosworth from overseas isn't going to be bragging about its 4X4 and much traction. Hope Mommy tucks you in tight tonight. Sweet dreams of one day actually owning a car...any car.

You want straight facts about the cosworth go to a real cosworth site moron... Who sayed a cosworth runs 12's ??? Man you oviously dont know your cars Think about this The buick turbo packs about 300 horses... and its a 4 thousand pouund car or 3.... my Cosworth is about 2 thousand pounds at the most and also carries around 350 horses.. which it has been tuned... I have already raced a supra came close to loss.. but still got him and we were doin over 110 MPH... in under 14 seconds from my assumption... A buick could not and will not... beat my car for chirst sake a BUICK??? Im pretty sure its always been the european manufactures on top Learn your facts on what you say, and if you dont beleive i own this thing i will have a site put up some time next week on it Im 1 of the 12 owners in the us who owns one of these bad boys |

Why I'm wasting my time responding is beyond me, but here goes;
You say we should learn about your cosworth cuz its so great? You should learn about turbo buicks cuz you are in over your head and out of your league. 350 hp and 2000 pounds? I got news for ya, your car weighs more than that, and there are plenty of buicks that are close to 3100 lbs, but are packing 500-600 hp, so you should watch your azz, cuz someone is going to show you how slow your car is. Oh yeah, 4 wheel drive might hook good, but big azz M/T drags hook twice as hard. You've been warned.

I dont understand who would want a big V8 gas gussling box...
I respect all you guys, i just dont understand how you like those things, im not a fan of big boxy style american cars, that just aint gonna dig for me... I have be warned? I dont know... I seen alot of other cosworths tear down pretty quick cars... I know mine can.... and im pretty sure it would be close with these buicks.. where are all you guys from anyjust Just to prove to some of you ignorant fools that i own this sucker i would drive down there.... just shows yourself you dont wanna think i do own this car i could stomp you with. and to reply on the weight of the car cosworths ain't heavy at all.. check out how light the regular American version escorts are. My brother owns a Buick GN Turbo and in my opinion it kicks on the startin but the handling is a nightmare... and when i accelerate it feels like the car is takin off without me *that heavy feeling, the car drives like a boat |

Ok this thread is a JOKE for one thing...
if you want to challenge ANY turbo buick here? why don't you challenge some of the low 7 second 1/4er turbo buicks on this board hmmmmm? that's 7 seconds in the QUARTER mile buddy...i can't even count how many stage II GNs we have running 8's - 10's and STOCK BLOCK guys running high 10's to 12's... hell my car is running low 12's and the motor has never been touched!!! i think this guy is on complete crack and he better give me some because i bet i could make alot of money off it!

Ever heard of a sierra?
Just put it this way I have seen a ford Sapphire, or possibly a sierra cosworth run a high 10... and to think its only a 4 banger... these buicks are v8's and there get 7's 10's 8's wetever... it shows that all that mighty steel proves nothing even a 4 banger can punch as much power depending on how its tuned
