Almost all Dyno Queen Supras that make 600hp to the wheels can't even get out of the 12s. Most Buicks are running 0-95mph in about 7 seconds as indicated by our timeslips that have been clocked on real track. Take your car to a dragstrip with its AWD and bring back a timeslip. I guarentee you won't be close to what half of us run at the track. Beat a Supra... There are some fast ones out there I will agree but there are WAY MORE faster Buicks on a drag strip. What a moron this guy is. RX7s and Civics. hahahaha ![]() Its amazing that people this stupid can function! |

Ok, here's what I found on the Escort Cossie ...
Quote:
http://www.xratedfords.co.uk/scripts..._cosworth.html - I made a annotation to indicate that the smaller turbos were available for '94-later. This car wasn't built to be a quater-mile performer. I don't know why you insist on coming onto this board, obviously looking to start a bragging war with a genre of car not even close to yours. The vast majority of Turbo Buicks are in the low 12s on pump gas, get 20mpg or better and are comfortable, spacious cars that for today's pricing can be had in very good condition for $8k-$12k USD The Escort Cosworth is a Rally racing designed car. It is small, it cannot comfortably seat 5 adults, it is of limited production and getting one isn't as easy as buying a domestic... At any rate, the facts are what they are. For what you'd spend on a Supra, you could build a V6 Stage II Buick Regal that will run 8s in the quater-mile, and you could prolly get away with driving it on the street if you tuned it real well. Hell, for the same amount or less than a Supra's cost you could add on another turbo to that Stage II V6 and prolly go 7's lol ...there will always be someone faster.

come to florida and let a v6 eat you. that is 125 mph in 10 seconds not 110 in 14 seconds. so go eat shi t and play with honda's. supra's and rx-7's when you get one come and play with me and i will eat the 1.3 rotory and your in-line 6. if you had the money to built one i know you wouldnt know how to drive one.
Best ET: 10.92 Best MPH: 125.71

Where are those Detroit TR's?
I would bet he never races. He didn't beat anything to brag about. I don't think he knows that these cars were made to run straight. When I was at Lou's for Dyno day. There was a GN there that put down 565hp to the rear wheels. While lookiing at the engine I asked if it was a stage I or stage II. I was told it was beyond that. The guy drove to Lou's. "Torque"....got yer dictionary? Have yer mommy pull it down from the bookshelf. This guy is funny...at least the other trolls knew what engines we have....

Hahaha, oh my, this is TOO much!! I know its a troll, because NOBODY who ever would have the ability to buy a Cosworth would be this STUPID. Go over to www.supraforums.com and see how many of them laugh at GNs. None of the smart-knowledgable ones. People who KNOW cars know what these things can do. Go back to your game of Gran Turismo, you are too dumb to even be considered humorous.

tell me about it...
Hey Cosworth guy,
I happend to race a few cosworths here in Europe. Both Sierras and Escorts. I've a little knowledge of them. You could make them fast, but the fastest I've seen was a mid 11's car with every modification known to man, 30 PSI of boost, breaking down something all the time. Tell us about your car. What kind of mods do you have? What kind of boost levels are you runnnig? I especially interested in you TT setup. That must be completely revolutionary. The Escorts came with 220 ponnies from the factory, so it will take a few mods to make 350 HP on the wheels. List them pls! Peace, Falco |

All has been quiet since I sent the troll a PM. I offered to run him down here in Florida at the track of his choice, give him lane choice, heads up, winner take all the first run. It will cost him a substantial cash offering as I don't run for charity.
And then, there was silence.......... ![]()

Morons
Well just put it this way.. im gonna have to argue about the looks of your car..
if you asked a mojority of people out there what would you prefer this black GN or a supra or a Cosworth garenteed about 80 percent of people would say the supra from watching f+f to much... but yet who really wants to drive a GN there so boxy... the interior is nasty.. and oh whoever that guy was that says you cant seat 5 comfortably in a cosworth.. well you can... and i betchya the cossie has a better ride then a GN. Now for the guy who wants specs on my car Behr two stage water/air and air/air intercooler, Max power: approx. 340 Bhp @ 6500 rpm, 440 N/m @ 4000rpm, AiResearch T03/04B oil lubricated, water cooled turbo with gas-flowed turbine housing, Cast iron block, aluminum head construction. Longitudinally mounted. K&N air filter. Reinforced chassis with front and rear strut braces. 8"x17" Compomotive MO wheels, all wheel disc vented brakes, Peformance 0-100Km/h acceleration: 4.1Sec Max speed: 310 Km/h 0-1000m acceleration: 24Sec The performance was not official for my car its from a guy in UK i email to usually, who has the exact same cossie, with about the exact same mods, he hooked me up with my cossie |

Mad.....
At least now you are quoting reality. By your previous post, you led us to believe twin turbo. As far as looks, not everyone can agree, that is why the whole rest of the world doesn't drive the same car. IMHO: Supra, not bad but don't like the rear of the car. RX7, cool car...... I like it. still don't own one. GN love the old school musclecar looks. I've owned everything from Vette, Benz, TVR, Fiat, Musclecars galore, trucks, drag cars, etc...... Driven twice as much stuff. BTW, 0-100kph in 4.1 still won't cut it if you plan to race a well tuned quarter mile GN. For referance, mine turns 0-100kph in 3.2 on radials..... Don't even ask on slicks. I also wouldn't even try to compete in the twisties. The offer still stands........
