yet another delay

Looks like there's going to be another delay due to a broken driveshaft

Where to get a strong drive shaft

Yeah, the car must not have much power to twist a drive shaft in half at the top of 3rd gear at 125mph... what a dog...

I was gone for a month at PLDC with the army.. came back ready to race (great weather) ... its been almost 3 weeks now and he has yet to arrive at the races.. my car is on the road all times and have had plenty of races since I have been back. the new stage 4 clutch is in as well as a blown axle seal fixed and topped off on meth/110 mix im ready when he is.. he has my # hell he can call me when ever he would like to set it up as we have plenty of camera cars and tracks around the area that we can do this... 907-750-0208 give me a call when your ready ( i did hear about the drive shaft you were lucky you had a drive shaft loop because that could have been pretty hairy at 125mph if you did not have one.)

The loop is a Myth...just watch Mythbusted

I missed it but someone told me they tried flipping a car with a busted front U-joint. The car never once tried to flip. Oh, well, knowing my luck, I would be the first car/truck to flip over it Anyways, keep us posted. It just dawned on me how long this has been going on...I didn't even own a T-type when I first replyed to this thread. Now I'm setting her waiting on my set bach of parts for it.

Here's Dennis' wagon (much slower than my old GN he has) laying the smack down on the SRT4.

You sure you want to race the GN now kid?

Dennis couldn't race him in the GN as it pretzled a driveshaft, he's lucky nothing or no one was seriously hurt.

Sounds like he's already prepared with the excuses. The vid emphasized "Doc" saying "don't want you to hurt your car or anything". SRT guy must've been whining about something.

I still would like to see the GN smack down the Neon. The wagon is nice and all, but it wasn't the GN that started all this BS.

Yes, that is THE SRT4 from this thread. I bet the excuses start flying now.

I talked to Dennis, he left right after the race and sure enough the neon owner called and started in with the excuses, a "boost line" blew off or something, Dennis offered to drive right back and race him again and he said no.

I think it's just that the Cobra is that much faster. Very mean cars. I got mixed up with one on the highway last week.

Damn

That Wagon has to weigh more than a GN...just think what a GN with the same power would do to that SRT4.

On a side note, and SRT4 killed my ass last night from a roll. I knew it would but I was focking bored lol Now from a dig it would have been more interresting. Oh well, he beat a 5600 lbs four door truck...not by much though lol

I just showed my husband the video of the Wagon vs. SRT, I don't think I have seen him laugh that hard in a long time.

These are my husbands words, " You can't beat American GM Muscle. The Wagon is awesome. I want to give the SRT a more fair race, I'm loadin' up the Kabota 3 cylinder turbo deisel tractor and headin' up. Tell them to get ready for a race. And I'll leave the propain injectors off! I hope the youngster learned his lesson, you can't go to a gun fight with a knife."

Nice run with the Wagon!!!! Whats in it?

Not all SRT4 cars are slow. I wouldn't mind owning one as a DD and a few mods for the fun factor. Not this one though, enjoy.

Dennis, it looks like you handled your business! Give the kid a chance for redemption in your SUV. It only weighs like 6,000 lbs! Have a good one,

Oh man, It's a V8

I guess I'm going to keep on wishing for them two to race.

As for that high HP Neon, Some people worry about dyno numbers while others like my self look at Time slips. Those dyno numbers don't mean a car will run "X" quater mile speeds...it still needs to plant that power to the ground and someone who can drive.
