Fake GNX parts on ebay,halfdozenbuzen

eBay Motors: 1987 87 Buick 3.8 TURBO GNX HEAT TURBO SHIELD COVER (item 320197802808 end time Dec-24-07 19:26:03 PST)

I asked the guy for a picture of the underside to see if it was real or fake and this is the message I get back

I own a business that works on the cars these come from. My wife is a lawyer and if anything is posted as you say. I will be forced to take legal action for slander you want to be the big man and tell lies just because I dont want to answer your harassing email go ahead and do so. I can track you down and bring to court and if you think I am kidding go ahead I belong to that site also. I can get a court order for the person that runs the site to give up your information. Because anything said on that site could be a threat to my business and my reputation. Read the auction it says what it is and that's that. Keep it up and you will see I will get more out of you for your threat then what this auction sold for. Trust me I dont lie when I say I will sue you over this treat I have all your emails which is harassment.

Guy is clearly a nut job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These guys that threaten slander have no idea what they're talking about. It's an empty threat. The burdon of proof is so heavy on the plaintiff that it's nearly impossible. He has to prove that broke1 knew he was spreading a lie and that lie cost you business. There is no way to prove that he knows it's a real GNX shield. Even if he could, then you have to prove that the statement caused actual damages. It ain't happening. But for that kind of scratch, that better be a real shield or someone is going to be very disappointed.

What's being left out is the email from what he's stating is his first email to what he's saying was my first and only reply. He asked for a picture of the underside which wouldn't of been a problem but I also got a B. S remark about trying to stick it to the uninformed. My auction states out right it is a 1987 87 Buick 3.8 TURBO GNX HEAT TURBO SHIELD COVER , 1987 3.8 Turbo 231 V 6 GNX T-TYPE GN GRAND NATIONAL, In the description it says this auction is for one used cover that will fit Buick turbo cars and GNX. Bought it at a swap meet and decided not to use it. No where in the auction did I state it was an original or a copy. Which Broke1 has yet to point out in all his words. I looked at his feedback on ebay before replying to his 1st email to make sure I wasn't wasting my time. I noticed that he had 5 negatives and 1 neutral. My auction states no bidders with high negative I blocked him and sent this saying BLOCKED

.Which obviously upset him. After receiving his second email which said WHat that mean??Trying to stick it to the uninformed ebayer?TR guys. I responded saying those that can read know what there buying its all in the auctions description and title of the auction nothing hidden and nothing falsified. Where it came from and what it is there buying. And it also says ask any questions before bidding not after. What I got in reply from him was ( Well see when I post on the Buick boards who you are

This is where my reply that he is showing came from it was not my first answer to his emails it was my last after dealing with his attitude over and over saying he's going to post all over about me on something I never said in my auction that it was an ORIGINAL part is says gnx turbo cover in which it says on it. What did he expect me to say ford turbo cover. It says what it fits and never said it was off of car number#@@ of 500 and something G-NXs. And yes my wife is a lawyer and not everyone is an ambulance chaser those that seem very much not to have a good remark always say something like this about them.When they think this is the only law field out there. With remarks like this you I wonder if Chuck Leeper has the same attitude as broke1. This is like saying all mechanics are grease monkeys or that everyone that owns a garage is out to screw the customer. It sounds like an uneducated response. I think you should all look at the feedback of drew231v6 on ebay before you past judgement on me it seems his feedback speaks for his actions towards other ebayers and from where he feels his emails to me have to be treats to me as a seller and to post everywhere about me. Look at his 89 feedbacks in 6 years and 5 negatives. Where I have done almost 1300 positive feedbacks in 7 years and 38 positive just in 1 month. I wonder just how many people you think are uninformed at what I am selling.

I feel sorry for the dumb bastard that bought it thinking it was real.

Which for $1000,im positive they did!!!

I think its funny that you bash this guy for selling a repro for $1000 when you were trying to sell your repro for $1250 without even providing pictures. If you read the 9th post in the link it says you will only take pictures to list it on ebay

No where in his auction did it say it was an original.
Not that it realy matters anyway since the repro and original are identical except for the welds and construction witch are only visible if you take it off to look underneath.

Sounds to me like someone is just pissed they did not put theirs on ebay first

HE MADE LESS THAN 200 OF THEM AND NO LONGER PRODUCES THEM.. THEY ARE IN FACT MORE RARE THAN THE OTHERS. The original owner upgraded to a big turbo and didnt want to mess with it. So he modified a stock one.

SURE AS HELL SOUNDS LIKE HE BOUGHT IT FROM AN ORIG GNX OWNER WHO DIDNT WANT TO MODIFY HIS ORIG SHEILD TO ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why not just take pics of the bottom of it????

I might want top $$$ for mine but I stated it was a repro,not trying to stick it over on anyone selling FAKE parts like this guy.

I just posted the link above because I remembered seeing his post when he was trying to sell his shield. The reason I remembered the name broke1 is I could not believe the attitude he had to prospective buyers for his shield. I feel turbo-G-BODYs pain because I dealt with the same kind of crap when I sold one of my GNX dash's and a rear seat brace

who really cares they are not sweet enough for me to want to spend that kinda money on them. i think the seller should have stated that it was a repo if it is and thats about it but somebody bought it and if they are happy with what the spent and recieved then it souldnt be anybodies problem right?

CLEARLY THE SELLER WAS NOT AWARE OF WETHER IT WAS AN ORIGINAL OR A REPRO. FROM WHAT I LEARNED, ITS HARD TO TELL THE DIFFERENCE! SOMEONE NEEDS TO POST PICS OF THE UNDERSIDE OF AN ORIGINAL.
