wiring fuel pump

Which is the best way to wire in the fuel pump use the buick stuff or buy a aftermarket relay to wire in I am in a debate with myself on this and can't make up my mind on which way to go.Thanks

I personally bought my own relay and did it. The hotwire kits are great, but are really for turbo buicks, not hybrids so the wiring near the trunk that you need for the hotwire kit isnt there.

By a nice BEEFY 30-40AMP relay. Find the wire that cycles the fuel pump on from the ECM to hook it up its near the relays on the passenger side.

That way you turn the key on, it cylces and then shuts off, but when you start the car it stays on. Works as it should.
