Hot Air Stuff?

Any hot air folk interested in a new hot air hood insulator? It has the heat shield in the insulator... $250.. I prefer not to ship it, as i would imagine shipping costs wouldn't be cheap, and they are fragile. I am in syracuse, NY, and can go to williamsport PA on occasion, and occassionaly to Toronto..

I also have some misc. parts... cruise control cable, gas pedal cable, vacuum canister (log style), wastegate solenoid, turbo to intake adapter, egr stuff, hard vacuum lines, oil fill neck for valve cover, etc...

Make an offer...

thanks,
Nate

I'm interested in the intake adapter and the vacuum canister (if it's the one that sets in front/top of the blower assembly and the tab on it are in good shape).

How much you want for those items.

I just went out and checked the tabs...they are both broken unfortunately. I'll take $10 bucks shipped the vacuum canister and intake to turbo adapter..

If you are interested let me know..

I won't refuse any reasonable offer on this stuff...just looking to get this stuff into the hands of someone who might use it..

Thanks,
Nate

Do you have any use for almost new belts for the hot air? I'll throw them in if you want them...

Thanks,
Nate

Sure I'll take the spare belts too. You made me feel guilty with the $10 price, so I upped it to $20 and sent the paypal

Thanks!

You didn't need to up the price, however it is greatly appreciated. I just wanted to see the parts get to someone who might use them, rather than collecting dust and taking up space!! Again thank you!! I have them packaged up and will ship out tomorrow!

Thanks,
Nate

If you are still looking for the vaccuum canister, check your local GM dealer. part # 10018660. I bought one in August. they should still be availible. list price was $19.95. Nothing beats NOS GM!! You would be surprised what is still availible for these cars from GM. Hope this helps!

Nate, I received the package a couple of days, 3 belts, one adapter and the vacuum canister. Thanks!

Hi turbonut65, thanks for the part number. I went immediately to GM parts Direct and put it in, but the part doesn't come up. Next time I'm in the area of a dealership I'll check it with a parts guy.

Thanks Again,

Eric

The insulator pad is still available. I really have no idea what shipping would be, but I would ask that you be very serious in purchasing the hood insulator, before I go to the extent of packaging it up and taking to UPS for an exact quote. I would envision fabricating some sort of frame work out of lattice or something to protect edges... The following quote was for washington state, but when i went to the UPS site..a 4' x 4' x 6" box, with an assumed weight of 25 lbs will cost $133 dollars!! I would bet the box would be slightly larger... Perhaps the weight i assumed was a little high...Let me know if that doesn't scare you! Either way be ready for a hefty shipping fee... I will only charge the actuall shipping price..i won't charge for boxing it up.... If you want to play around with shipping services, my zip code is 13082. I'll use whatever means you desire.

Lemme know,

Thanks,
Nate
