I have a JS upper plenum on a stock 87 intake and created
their style IC kit on my 85. Works great. Never had it on a
track, probably never will, but it runs good.

No problem with the IAC or anything else either for that matter.
It just runs good. I am putting an 87 intake with my own design
upper plenum and a TA 49 with 36# injectors on my 84.
If Bweavy would just make some 3" D/P's, I would say that
the car will probably run 11's or 12's, but I won't race it either.
The plenum design that I have, has been flowed against
several other plenums, both stock and Accufab/PTE, etc,
and this one has NO FLOW PENALTY versus other 86/87
plenums. It flows as well as any of them but does require
a different power plate, if you use one.

3inch dp on a hot air and 49 should do 11's all day. I had a mease 3inch dp and sold it. You could really tell the difference on spool up with it.
