Coilpack
Dave here again....... I have a quick question. I have been reading all the info/sites I can find on 85 GN's. I have an upgraded 87 coil. I understand how they are hooked up...1+4, 2+5, 3+6. They say it doesn't matter if they are swapped. 153in front or back of coil, I know the coil "towers" are tied together. I cant understand how you can swap these and it still works????? I thought the coils had to fire in a certain order......if you change wires from front to back, aren't you changing the order the cylinders are firing?????? I will hook mine up so the numbers match on the coil pack....... Thanks, Dave

Thanks for the explanation..... That is the first time I've heard that. I Think that makes sense, thats why it doesn't matter front or back of coil.....as long as you keep 1+4, 2+5, 3+6 together??? Thanks again, Dave
