340 bux worth of tune up stuff
Oh well,..
So,....err,..... will I be thrashed by the purists out there if I'm not using GM replacement parts? Bought all the fluids trans, gear and motor spark plugs Rear end gasket Trans filter kit fuel filter New coil pack,... they had it in stock so I'm sure I paid more than I should have MSD ignition wires.,... I didn't realize you have to cut them to sizecrank case breather valve No book,... gonna have to search for tightening specs.... I'll bet that this get's it running/shifting better. Although,...I'm a bit leery abouty the rear end fluid change,... looks like a Major #$%ing pain in the ass. Thanks for the help and advice guys going to have to save a bit now for a hot wire/upgraded fuel pump.. A- |

REAR END fliud change is easy as opening up a beer-
pull fill nut out on the pass side of the rear end to make sure it comes out- then take the cover off and let er puke out the oil- make sure you use 2 bottles of GM posi additive if your car has the option code on the decklid G80 get ready to get dirty- ps- use a spark plug wrench that has the hex end on it so you can use a wrench in #6 to break it loose- BW
