I have been trying figure out why my cars boost has been out of control. The boost will just keep going up. I have checked my vacuum lines, and they are all on and in good shape. I was thinking it could be my wastegate soloniod, or my puck is sticking. It feels like the hose is off of the waste gate, but it isnt because I have checked the lines several times and even replaced the hoses. I was wondering what eles I could check? Is there a way to check the wastegate to see if it is still working, both wastegates?

you need something like a mini vac to test the actuator...if the diaphram is shot, your boost cannot be controlled

I think I just had the wastegate adjusted way too tight. I backed off about 5 turns and now the boost is acting normal, with and without the boost controler. Did I have the wastegate so tight that it would not open the puck? I adjusted the waste gate to get higher boost setting with the bstc, so even when I turned it all the way down it must have still been too much boost.
