Fuel Pump Question & Fuel Rail Part

I changed the fuel filter on my car- apparently the one on the car was installed backwards (flow arrow pointing to the pump). Before the change, the fuel pump was extremely, loud, now I cannot even hear it. I checked F.P. after the change and it was 35 PSI at idle, line on. Is this normal - I'm sure most TR owners don't let their fuel filter get this clogged, but has anyone else experienced this?

Also, does anyone know a part number / supplier for the schrader valve core in the fuel rail? A/C size ones do not fit - mine looks pretty crusty and it makes me nervous.

shrader valve is the same size as the valve stem in your tires.

FP should be ~42 line off. I wouldn't measure it line-on since vacuum drops the reading, and the engine will get different vacuum on different days and whatnot based on weather and being finicky and such.
