changing compressor housings....
has anyone ever changed a TA housing to a TE housing. i was entertaining that idea of putting a TE housing on my TA-54. i think my turbo is a john craig unit, because pte said that their housings have precision on it. i'm sure mine says garrett. although, i can't look right now because i have 2 ft of snow on my hood.
anyway, has anyone ever done this? what housing could i use?
