Will 295/50/15 Tires on Weld Prostar XP 15x10 w4.5 bs fit?

I just got done doing a search and found some info but not enough so here it goes.
I want to run the BFG Radial TA’s 295/50/15 on a 15x10 w/4.5” BS Weld Prostar XP.
Is anyone out there running this combo or know anyone that is?
I really do not want to roll the lip of the fender well nor notch the frame. If I had to do one or the other I would prefer the notching of the frame since it is not visible nor would I risk damaging the body.
Thanks for the help.

You will have to roll the lip unless u run airbags pumped up all the time. Then youll be a jacked up in the back like "Joe Dirt"

Could I go with 5.5 bs notch the frame and not have to roll the lips?

If rolling the lips has to be done then how is the best way to do it?

I'm running 295-50-15s on my GN on some cheapo US Wheels 15x10s with a 4.25" BS. Before I got new shocks/springs/bushings, the molding would contact the tire edge on big bumps or dips at highway speeds. Since all the suspension upgrades, I don't have a problem. I would think it would be very close with a 4.5" BS.

Are you running the BFG Radial TA tire? What springs are you running?
I have The Hotchkis 1" lower spring kit that is supposed to be stiffer than stock and I will most likely put air bags in to help from big hits. I may also look at extending the axle bumper so it wont hit the tires on big dips at high speeds.
How much clearance do you have from the frame with the 4.25bs?
Can you email pictures?
Thanks

I'm running some Pep Boys tires - Futuras, cheap to go with the wheels. I mainly just run them for testing - to get as much contact patch as possible while I'm trying to get my car running correctly. My springs are from Jack Cotton, they are just the variable rate stock-type springs. I seem to recall that I have tons of clearance on the frame, I'll see what I can do in the way of picts, but at this time of year, it's dark long before I get home. I do have air bags, but I don't keep them pumped up too much. I think there's like 5psi in there just so they don't flap around from being too loose inside the spring.

I've always had to use a spacer with any wheel that has a backspace greater the 4" and different brands of 295X50-15 tires. One side is tighter than another. All new wheels I'll purchase will be below the 4" B.S. - I don't want to use spacers anymore. Besides rolling the lip you can also "cut" the lip off. I know the purists just fainted

I am looking at going with 15x8 with 3.75-4" bs with a 295/50/15 BFG DR or with stock T-Type wheels with the Nitto 275/60/15 555r (DR). I am leaning toward the stock rims and the 275/60 Nitto since I just dumped a lot of $$$$$$$$$$$ into the car the past few months. I think the wife is going to kill me soon. I guess that would better than the BIG D?

The nice rims may have to wait until the credit card is paid down.

Does anyone know where I can buy a pair of the 8.5" Vector rims?
