battery dies new battery & altenator
hi guys my 87 turbo t has been having a problem. i changed my altenator & my battery & the ground wire for the battery. why is my car dying even while driving. isn;t that when it is supposed to be charging? i am stumped. someone hel p please.

You need a voltmeter. Test the voltage at the alternator, then the voltage at the battery. I had a problem with a different car that made ~14volts at the alt, but a hair under 12 at the battery. Therefore the battery would slowly die cause it wasn't getting sufficient charge after continuous starts. I started the car, then removed the positive cable from the battery to test its voltage supply. The positive cable was badly corroded inside.
