TA Performance headers

Just bought a used set of Stainless steel header made by TA. They look good for what I paid for them, but one pipe has a crack in to the flange on the passenger side header. Anyone know if TA does any repairs on there products? If so how is the customer service? Here is a pic. I have a cheap camera so pic may not be very good.

I've had a lot of success with their customer service. I've been considering a set of TA headers for a while, so I'm sorry to see that they can crack like that.

looking at the pics the tubes are welded around the outside of the pipes ,

hate to say it but from what ive seen those arent TAs , they are the china knockoffs.

What I want to know is, why did you have your headers in the bathroom?

I don't know about that The China knockoffs have a different side passenger header. The crossover on the China's do not bolt up to back of header the bolt up mid way up on the header nearturbo flange like the Kenne Bells.

ther atr-kb knockoffs dont look like the TA but there are TA knockoffs (do a search) the ta knockoffs look alot like them as far as tube layout , but not at the flanges , TA uses mild steel for the flange to head , yours look stainless , ta welds the tube from the inside of the flange , yours are definitely welded at the outside same as all china headers

like i said looking at just what you have to see they look like the knockoffs

and mark huffman sells a TA 'style' header that he calls a SE style header , http://www.buickgn.com/headers.htm

I just called TA and your right about the welding. I guess a got taken on these. I paid less than Mark sells them for though. I thought for sure they were TA. OH well live and learn I guess. I think they will look and hold up better than the stockers. Thanks for letting me know, but damn you put a black cloud over me now.

If they fit, weld them up and go. Won't hurt a thing.

What makes you so sure? The pic only show partial pipe not even a whole header or crossover. Not trying to relate my cracked junk to your headers or hinder ant sale for you, but for what I seen on your site and what I have they look the same
